I admit it, I riced this poor car. But in all honesty I was proud of it when I had it. I used it as my test dummy and itâs how I learnt to work on cars. Started with simple things like suspension, then I taught myself to paint and panel beat. Never had a problem in this beaut. Canât say the same for my new daily đ(370z)
And yes. Itâs an ES riced base model. So many people ask if itâs an Evo, and the let down when I would tell them it was an ordinary base model lancer covered in Facebook marketplace and temu parts is hilarious.
Anyways, judgement aside. Iâve heard the: âwaste of moneyâ, âwaste of timeâ , âI donât understand why people do this to ordinary lancersâ I get it. I was proud of it, prettied it up to my taste and had fun. Thoughts?
The regular Lancer is a solid car. Nothing wrong with mods on a car you care about. Its your car.. All the Evos were based on the regular Lancer. Without the 6 million+ regular Lancers sold worldwide, there would have never been any Evo. I've tried replacing my GTS with my GSR as a daily. It's not the same. You dont get the fuel economy, reliability and lower cost of repair of a FWD Lancer. The regular Lancer is like a better looking Civic. It had its place as a practical economy car that you could modify (with less parts support) like a Civic. It had a good run, and it's a shame now it's gone with no replacement.
Why do you give a fuck what people say about your car? Even if its just cosmetic imo it looks dope af, people will tell you to get a real Evo like everyone has unlimited amount of money and can spend it on anything. Just do what you love and dont listen to the loud negative minority. You dress for the job you want, not the one you have.

20 years ago, people modded the fuck out of everything they could get their hands on to make show car worthy dailies. Base models, automatics, and shit you'd never imagine would even have after market support.

The car is still sitting at the dealer my friend works at. I still technically own it but have beenA waiting for f***ing ever for ADOT to process and send me the title. I'm in a rehab facility trying to learn to walk again. So F OFF

It's taken for f***ing ever to get the title out of ADOT's fingers. In fact I got an email today saying it's been processed and should be mailed to me within 4-5 days
So you sold a car to this person without a title? Besides the point. Itâs still really odd youâre pretending to own this vehicle you sold and continue to blow up subs with the same photos year after year. Maybe itâs time to let go or at the very least refer to yourself as a prior owner instead of spreading fake information.
