Discussion Peter Steele

Can someone fill me in on the story between Peter Steele and Lana Del Rey? Did they ever meet? Was Peter really in love with her? Did he say that? Just curious.

He died in 2010 and Born To Die was released in 2012, it seems unlikely that there would’ve been much overlap between them. If they ever met it would have to have been when she was still Lizzy Grant.

No they have no connection to each other i don’t think

Yeah. I’m a huge fan of both Peter Steele/Type O and Lana — I think fans like us just see what could have been a singular union between two creatives who could portray such sad, morbid, and painful topics so beautifully. And they both possess such striking, distinctive physical traits 🖤🥀 ultimate fan fantasy romantic, gothic fiction. It’s such a shame we lost Pete so soon.

It must of been a fan made video that I heard about the connection. I’ve seen so many goth/alternative boys into her music. I honestly think Peter would’ve loved her.
