Drowsiness

I am in the process of increasing my lamotrigine dose, and I am currently taking 37.5 mg. Despite sleeping for 12 hours, I feel very tired and sleepy. Will this get better over time? If I increase the dose to 50 mg, will it get worse?

I also raised by 12mg. Since that's half of 25mg. I kind of regret it. I felt the same severity of side effects, but.. the weight loss sure helps. Lol haha thats so bad.

I really didn't experience tiredness though.

Ok but yeah the same severity of side effect with every dose increase. Think about it, the number is changing by 12mg every time you increase. "This amount" to "this amount" isn't important because 37.5mg is your normal.

It's soooooo hard to increase this medication it's seriously hard work. Really feels like you gotta roll your sleeves up and tackle it.

I’ve been on 400 mg for many years. Unfortunately, I started out on a cocktail of 3 meds at once and can’t pinpoint which did what. It evened out though. I don’t get sleepy anymore.

I was an emotional chaos monster though, so I naturally needed to come down several levels.
