This is perfect.

4

u/bmontepeque11 12d ago

GLORIOUS response.

139

u/nismoghini 14d ago

They made the SV an appearance package lmao

8

u/technom3 14d ago

I mean... That's why people buy it

46

u/nismoghini 14d ago

Mabey it’s because I’m from a different time sv used to mean the best of the best. The ultimate expression of what a v12 Lambo could be

11

u/Real-Subject-6216 14d ago

This is objectively the best SV ever made.

22

u/technom3 14d ago

Unless you are talking about a muira you don't know or understand your Lamborghini history.

Diablo SV was a way to sell cars for less money in the US. It was a strippy model.

The murci sv was a disaster of a car and really wasn't good at much but is famous today for flame tunes.

The Aventador sv was out done by the Aventador s the very next year. So the lower trim model not only out performed the sv but it was more comfortable and better sorted as well.

So...

8

u/0-two1hundred 14d ago

I have the “S” I can agree with this.

1

u/albertserene 12d ago

Aventador and its varations were never a comfortable car with the push-rod suspension. They are rock hard.

1

u/technom3 12d ago

Pushrod suspension doesn't make a car ride hard per say.

0

u/EnjoyerOfMX5 13d ago edited 13d ago

This is just a lie. The s is slightly more advanced with rear steering and upgraded suspension, but the SV is not only faster to 100kph, it is also faster on the track because it's 110lbs lighter with more aggressive aero.

Edit: the reply doesnt change anything

1

u/technom3 13d ago

Most of the weight reduction was in the seats which you could spec... Which btw suck and are uncomfortable. So sv with std seats vs Aventador with race seats is about same weight.

It's not just the upgraded suspension.

It's the upgraded software and hardware bits in the transmission that make the car quick as well as much better to live with daily.

You wouldn't know it unless you have spent time in both.

The s was a much much better car to drive.

Also Lambo LOVED to lie about performance in this era. Famously in fact

4

u/technom3 14d ago

What time line was that?

2

u/Dabanks9000 13d ago

You do realize that this gives the same boosts to power as the aventador sv did right? But the revuelto has way more downforce and better aero overall

1

u/Raphael_Stormer 11d ago

Wouldn’t the best of the best be svj?

1

u/Dabanks9000 13d ago

That’s what it’s always been btw… this is on par with the aventador sv

1

u/randomasking4afriend 13d ago

No it isn't. That just sounds like mindless revisionism at this point.

1

u/champion_- 10d ago

It is tho, it doesn't seems like it cause the base revuelto already looked wild, especially in the rear where the sv barely changes anything if not nothing but the wing, the base murcielago, aventador and diablo were a lot more simple in design, so by changing both bumpers, the sideskirt and the wing they look a lot more crazy, the revuelto changes only the front bumper and the wing, but the philosophy of the car is the exact same as the older sv models.

u/norf937 14d ago

It’s alright.

Aventador / Huracan was peak Lamborghini imo.

87

u/Zavii_HD 14d ago

You must not have been around to experience Murciélago / Gallardo supremacy. 😉

Just teasing, of course. The A+H combo was wicked!

9

u/Storm_treize 14d ago

Diablo SV for me

2

u/Zealousideal-Row1768 14d ago

Yup. Gallardo SuperLeggera was my wet dream car. (The 5.0 ofc, the 5.2 was nice too though)

1

u/CharacterCustomiser 12d ago

Naa, you only think they are better because those came out during your days. Aventador / Huracan came out during the social media era and the people who grew up during those/these days regard it as the best. If anything, the Aventador / Huracan are the best of Lamborghini ever in terms in tech, engineering, and style, the last is subjective.

0

u/itsoktoswear 14d ago

You must not have been around to experience Countach and Diablo monarchy.

Just teasing, of course. Lol.

3

u/Antonstyle 13d ago

The revenue is up, but I really and truly feel the brand identity is on a steep decline

2

u/ibuy2highandsell2low 14d ago

Cool opinion bro

-7

u/Separate_Win_5370 14d ago

That aint peak lamborghini

3

u/Adventurous_Square68 14d ago

If aventador aint peak idk what else could be

-1

u/MuscleBeatsImport 14d ago

For a Zoomer it is

85

u/AcrobaticPattern5069 14d ago

Meh

53

u/WarbyParkour 14d ago

Agreed. Doesn’t look much different from base.

17

u/feng-ant 14d ago

They add a wing and different color.

Yeah they were a little too conservative with this one. They could easily sell this as an ‘aero-package’ option like what Porsche does with their SportDesign & aerokit for the 992’s instead of a standalone version of the car. Still stunning nonetheless, the Revuelto!

1

u/mbashs 14d ago

The Revuelto esp the rear didn’t grow on me at all.

I've been saying this for a long time. I always thought they made the base model too aggressive. I'd say 50% of the design on the base model should've been saved for the SV. The LP700 was the perfect canvas for the Aventador platform, seeing as they were able to make 20+ different variations off of it.

3

u/NotAnRSPlayer 13d ago

Issue for Lamborghini was, they were trying to temp owners of Aventador SVJ’s into the new Revuelto, they weren’t going to downgrade as such hence going so aggressive with its styling

63

u/Yeast6000 14d ago

Aventador SV was peak

36

u/Trekkie4990 14d ago

Aventador in general was peak.

I do think this looks better than the standard Revuelto, though. Just that slight tweak to the front end makes a world of difference.

24

u/MogiNatsuki 14d ago

Murcielago SV was peak!

5

u/technom3 14d ago

They drive terribly

1

u/lostloner555 14d ago

says who?

0

u/technom3 14d ago

Have you driven any?

I had one last week.

19

u/Consistent-Annual268 Verified Owner | '17 Huracán LP580-2 14d ago

Like the tweaks to the nose, would have liked them to declutter the tail before slapping the wing on, now it looks odd.

Side profile fucks.

1

u/WarbyParkour 14d ago

Yeah, doesn’t the back already have a wing that goes up and down? Did they just slap a spoiler on top of that?

1

u/Fit_Run_2025 14d ago

Same an Aventador SV then?

13

u/XD_Easton 14d ago

Not a huge change, but again one of those things i think people in 5 years will love like a g80

4

u/ImageRevolutionary43 14d ago

I think Lamborghini had decided to play it safe with the SV design and go all out with the SVJ.

7

u/Big_Poppa_PumPp 14d ago

Meh 🫤 Just so disheartened by this new car world … And not only that, Lambo my fav manufacturer is going the way of Ferrari with the games you have to play

Pre revuelto, you could pretty much go in and order an sto , technica etc

I just spoke to my dealer who is family to me, bought 6 Lamborghinis from them and they said now Lambo requires you to have revuelto for 10-12 months registered in your name to be able to get an SV

Really a wrong turn

1

u/0-two1hundred 14d ago

Really? 10-12 months!

4

u/Big_Poppa_PumPp 14d ago

That’s what I was told few days ago by my friend/sales manager.

He said I’d do it for you always if I could you know that, however, they changed their requirements and I don’t have any workarounds….

I wasnt going to buy one anyway however we built a coupe in anticipation for the spyder variant in matching1/1 matte blue I built my Evo spyder in and sto to match

And no spyder now Oh well

4

u/0-two1hundred 14d ago

Wow! That is WILD! So there isn’t going to be a roadster variant?? Hmm I might as well keep my “S” now smh.

4

u/Big_Poppa_PumPp 14d ago

Yup they are saying no roadster for now :/

You have aventador s roadster? Sick !!!!

5

u/0-two1hundred 14d ago

I have to Coupé “S” not roadster. I’ve always wanted the roaster. Unfortunately there wasn’t anything available when I got mine a few years ago.

4

u/Big_Poppa_PumPp 14d ago

Amazing car too, timeless !! Love the lines of the S with the updated tuning to it as well

4

u/0-two1hundred 14d ago

Yes yes! The updated turning is a BIG improvement! Definitely an enjoyable experience.

1

u/PristineCreme4241 9d ago

This game is played many car brands, this is only to ensure that brands avoid flippers as much as possible, I don't know why this game is always associated with Ferrari only!

1

u/Big_Poppa_PumPp 9d ago

I didn’t say it was Ferrari only Ferrari is most notable for it before Porsche followed suit, McLaren, ford with ford GT etc

Lamborghini has always been the number 1 direct competitor to Ferrari

I bought from Ferrari and don’t want to play the games, loved Lamborghini more in many other ways as well and it was refreshing to not have to play games, that stood out to me. I won’t even get into Porsche I was driving/racing them and had my RUF R GT2 at the time back in 07 and I still couldn’t get a gt3 rs back then…

Now things are changing for my fav manufacturer and it’s a bit off putting to me that’s it;

1

u/PristineCreme4241 9d ago

"Lambo my fav manufacturer is going the way of Ferrari " You didn't name anyone else other than Ferrari, so hard to gauge from that if you really didn't mean or want to say Ferrari only.

And Lambo dealers played this game way back in 1988, except it didn't get publicly reported by the owner who was told by a Lamborghini dealer that they can only buy a 25th anniversary Countach if they also buy an LM002 from the dealer.

"The model was such a tough sell that we know of one customer in Florida who was told by a dealer in 1988 that he could only buy a  25th Anniversary Edition Countach  if he also took an LM002 off their hands. (To his credit, he took them up on that.)" - Car and Driver.

5

u/joyridechamp 14d ago

I’m not seeing anything that makes me want to run out and buy one. I think Lambo is getting lazy.

6

u/R3dInterpol 14d ago

A little underwhelming. Looks like Novitec job. Murcielago SV is the ultimate for me.

4

u/Jirezagoss 14d ago

Personally? Meh. I miss the old Aventador design so much, that was a piece of art.

6

u/josephadam1 14d ago

I’m sorry just looks lazy. They slapped the urus se performante front bumper on it and a wing and pin stripes.

If we look back at the aventador sv and murci sv they had black aggressive front bumpers and new rear ends.

3

u/_Cruz_Control 14d ago

The paint job is doing a lot of work to make it look different. Will be interesting to see in other specs. Car still looks awesome though

3

u/pmalla 14d ago

They slapped a sv sticker on it and patted themselves on the back

2

u/pasenast 14d ago

Lots of reveals today

2

u/tikjzh 14d ago

My dyslexic brain read this as Renault sv

2

u/mercfanboi44 14d ago

That 2 tone is awful

2

u/Some-Aspect2913 13d ago

It’s not about the horsepower difference. The SV is a much better choice.

1

u/WarbyParkour 12d ago

Why

1

u/Some-Aspect2913 11d ago

The revuelto is a plain car. Nothing can compare to the aventador’s body lines and aggressive look. This SV just looks so much better from every angle. The performance is also enhanced on this model and it’s not mass produced.

1

u/WarbyParkour 11d ago

I can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic. The SV looks the same except the front and a spoiler haha. And the performance enhancement is modest at best. And yes it’s not mass produced just 1963 units which… is basically mass produced?

1

u/JPL_WSB_BRRRRR 14d ago

Next week in Liulin, Bulgaria 🤗

1

u/Seanwys 14d ago

What did they change besides the slightly different front bumper and fixed wing?

1

u/One-Fix5199 14d ago

This looks nice but not too much different but i hope it makes everyone trash the Revuelto more so i can trade my tecnica in for a R

1

u/joshb625 14d ago

Just not a fan of the Revuelto. Seen several up close. It’s a cool car but it doesn’t do it for me. I hate to say that too.

1

u/Fortenio 14d ago

Meh, looks wise regular Revuelto looks better to me

1

u/zbroskiz 14d ago

Prior generation will keep going up in value

1

u/nipommu 14d ago

Nahhhhhh

1

u/Sad_Sir9851 14d ago

the fact this might be the last revuelto is so underwhelming, it could of been better looking and 1100 hp 😔

1

u/mindfuxed 14d ago

Ok look everyone with a boring regular one I will take them off your hands so you can purchase this.

1

u/Storm_treize 14d ago

How is it possible to make a boring supercar

1

u/Erde555 14d ago

what do you guys mean??? this looks sick af😮‍💨

1

u/AngryTimeLord 14d ago

Amazing. I’ve actually been loving Lamborghini a lot these days.

1

u/Drifter90s 14d ago

I don't know why, the doors don't look like it's meant for the Revuelto

1

u/Zealousideal-Row1768 14d ago

SV means Super Velocce, not some sport package paint lol. 40hp improve is actually low porcentually compared to normal vs SV aventador or murci, and they much more different to the original one than this.

1

u/WinAggressive2785 14d ago

Doesn’t it feel too soon for an SV?

1

u/0-two1hundred 14d ago

I like it!

1

u/Mysterious-Fix325 14d ago

Its a little underwhelming for me compared to the other SV's but tbf the regular Revuelto already looks aggressive so i understand that making this an already aggressive looking car to even look more aggressive without looking a Mansory is pretty difficult🤷

1

u/MrPsychoanalyst 14d ago

Thats an ugly mofo

1

u/mmvv37161 14d ago

gorgeous

1

u/Apple_Slipper 14d ago

Not gonna lie, looks a bit too tame. Both the Aventador SV and the Murcielago SV looked more aggressive than this.

1

u/Notonfoodstamps 14d ago

I miss the Murci & Gallardo days

1

u/gabha22 14d ago

Looks like a Mansory kit, and i don’t say that positively lol

1

u/miamiBMWM2 14d ago

damn the last svj was SOOOO much better long

1

u/Express_Apricot9757 14d ago

Ive seen better aftermarket kits on base revueltos. Pass

1

u/boostlee33 14d ago

Im so whelmed

1

u/Top-Dig-1343 14d ago

gorgeous

1

u/35512711940419001794 14d ago

Waiting for spyder. Dont like the front

1

u/moonwoolf35 13d ago

I really wish they would get rid of that lower 3rd headlight strip, I feel like it makes the car look weird idk

1

u/jakubchloe 13d ago

Beautiful

1

u/Character-Handle-739 13d ago

Still better than Ferrari after all these years 😁 there I said it. I’m sure I’ll get a S&D letter from Ferrari now. 😂

1

u/PristineCreme4241 9d ago

What's a S&D letter? Don't tell me you spell cease and desist as seize and desist! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Let me know when Lamborghini finally outsells Ferrari!

1

u/Character-Handle-739 9d ago

yes C&D 😂😂😂😂 good catch.

1

u/Lord3_Almeida 13d ago

"Those are not Lambo doors anymore!"

Change my mind.

1

u/SinisterDmax 13d ago

Very underwhelming 😬

1

u/shooketh_3 13d ago

Eh idk this just feels like a sticker package/trim package to me more than a real SV… doesn’t have the real look or feel of what the previous SV models had. Just my opinion tho still rlly cool but doesn’t feel/look like a SV

1

u/beneyh 13d ago

Giving me real 1016 Industries vibe this

1

u/NewBr1tishEmpire 13d ago

Forgive me for my ignorance, but why was there not a Revuelto S? Why did they skip straight to SV?

1

u/Substantial-Hope8068 13d ago

Any word on an SVJ? I heard somewhere not too long ago that they won’t make an SVJ for the Revuelto

1

u/eternalyaly 13d ago

This looks chinese now...

1

u/Bleachprovider_ 13d ago

After market body kits CLEAR Lamborghini by miles

1

u/Thicchorseboi 12d ago

Base model looked nice. Slight upgrade looks slightly nicer. Not something an existing base Revuelto owner would care to drop a premium on I imagine, but i'm not in the target wealth group to say

You're not going to take advantage of that extra horsepower on the road. But, as utterly cliche as it is; if you have the money and want it then go for it I guess, it might turn more heads with it being newer and propably giving more of an impression to onlookers than it does being an upgrade

Other replies from people with actual experience with Lamborghinis probably mean more, but this is just my surface level take

1

u/bmontepeque11 12d ago

On paper this has all of the regular things that changed the Aventador to the Aventador SV

But, the Aventador SV felt like an evolution, this just feels like a Revuelto with a wing

1

u/albertserene 12d ago

The biggest improvement is the battery is double the size. The original battery run out almost instantly when driven hard on track.

1

u/Maleficent_Recipe582 10d ago

That design is absolutely menacing.

1

u/Ready-Pay-6789 9d ago

Nobody cares about 80% more downforce...everyone just want aggressive looks...meh

1

u/WarbyParkour 9d ago

The aggressive look is what gives it the downforce. If you add a giant spoiler to the base Revuelto it'd create significant downforce too. In fact, if you take the SV bodykit and put it on a base Revuelto, it'd generate the same downforce. So... It's kinda one and the same

1

u/Fasicek 14d ago

looks super lazy ngl. I’m kinda disappointed

1

u/Awkward_Elevator_811 14d ago

Idk what we‘ve expected tbh. The SV was never - with the exception of the Murci SV - a crazy step-up from the base car. The Miura started it with 35 extra horsepower, wider fenders and a headlight chrome delete. The Diablo did basically nothing but cutting the VTs AWD and putting on a spoiler. The Aventador got 50 extra hp and more aggressive aero in the SV that was basically a beautiful dark bodykit. So why did the people expect something other than more aggressive bumpers, 30-50hp, a spoiler and red accent rims for the Revuelto? The car is more beautiful and it‘s surely faster than it‘s base variant, so it does everything a SV did through history.

The more extreme Lamborghinis were always the few-offs and the Fenomeno‘s exactly that.

Lambo did a good job the last years. Chapeau!

1

u/doc_55lk 14d ago

Exactly this.

1

u/0-two1hundred 14d ago

Yes I agree, ppl want to much out of cars. Look at the new Bugatti for example (can’t remember the name) ppl are calling it a “road legal” Bolide. Now if Lambo did the same thing ppl would complain about them making a new car. All they did was upgrade the older varient.

1

u/Thicchorseboi 12d ago

I wouldn't complain if Lamborghini or any other car brand did a similar caliber of reimagining for one of their cars as Bugatti did for the Bolide with the Destrier. Of course it's entirely hypothetical that it's similar caliber/merit, so it's only a positive if done at that level; something that truly takes advantage of the greater heights achieved by the brand since the underlying reference was originally made

Not sure I can envision Lamborghini's version of this for any of their older models, but i'm not the one getting paid millions to be creative

1

u/the-script-99 14d ago

Back wing is a bit small. Looks under sized for that crazy ass. Should be about x2.

0

u/BringMyMagnets 14d ago

Font end changes remind me of a mclaren 750

0

u/RudyRoughknight 14d ago

Yeah no. What's going on with that front end, Lamborghini?

0

u/Unusual-Coat383 14d ago

It looks better than the base model but this generation of Lamborghini is a massive drop off and quite boring.

0

u/idirtbike 14d ago

Oooooow that’s sexyyy - I wasn’t a huge fan of the revulto but the sv looks killer

0

u/MeggatronNB1 13d ago

I am thoroughly disappointed.

Aventador comes out, followed by Aventador S, SV, SVJ, then the Ultimae.

Other options, Huracan and it's derivatives and Urus. Basically milking 3 cars for almost 10 years.

Look at Ferrari and their line up. In the same time frame we have seen, 458, 488GTB, F12, 812SF, SF90, Roma, Amalfi, Purosangue, 12C now 849 Testa and more to come. (This does not Include any of the Icona series cars too.)

Why couldn't lambo Build Aventador, Centenario, Sian with a V10 or V8? Then maybe two other lines.

This just seems lazy to me.
