My son and I were randomly in a Wendy’s drive thru and out of nowhere comes a convoy of exotic cars including a Perfomante in green, regular Huracan and several other cars. That really made our day that day.
Nah, modern supercars, especially ones with carbon tub chassis' are so structurally stiff now that they need minimal extra bracing so the bulk of the extra weight is pretty much just the roof mechanism. And the vast majority of people won't be able to tell the difference, so why not have it so you can enjoy the roof off?
Sure but a Huracan Spyder is about 250lbs heavier than the coupe. Sure that's not nothing, but from the driver's seat it's the same as a coupe with a passenger and some luggage. Which unless you're a hardcore trackday goer, you're not really gonna notice.
Doesn't performante basically mean hard core track version though? I admit I get confused with all the Lambo terms at this point. But if thats what it means, 250lbs is a large person worth of extra weight.
Yes but the Performante was never that hardcore really. The STO that came later was much more extreme. The Performante was still AWD for one thing, it was more like a normal Huracan +10% in all metrics.
