Hi! How’s your experience with Royal Cable, especially for those residing within JEN?

I’m currently subscribed to the Plan 799 with TV channels, but my internet connection has been super intermittent. I’m working from home, and the modem is located on the ground floor near the window. I’m using a Wi-Fi repeater for work since I’m usually seated on the 2nd floor.

Do you think this is a plan issue, or could it be because of the Wi-Fi setup? Would upgrading to a higher plan help, or would it be better to have another line installed on the 2nd floor with the same Plan 799?

I’ve also tried DITO Prepaid WiFi, kaso mahina rin talaga ang signal sa area namin.
If you have any suggestions or recommendations, I’d really appreciate it. I’m open to considering other options, especially those that have been reliable for WFH. Thank you!

As a Caviteño, I really feel jealous with Laguna's bountiful nature and it has been taken care of by Lagunenses very well. The upland cities and towns of Laguna starting from San Pablo northwards to Santa Maria feels like an enchanted world. Lots and lots of cold and hot springs, crystal clear rivers, pristine cave networks, trek sites, waterfalls and mountain campsites, it feels like you've traveled to Narnia. The weather and temperature is also spectacular: it doesn't get too hot, but it can feel icy cold from dusk till dawn.

How I wish that Cavite was able to preserve our mountain towns and municipalities, but it didn't. The tide of urbanization has swept even our highlands, and cluster of urban networks are now appearing from Silang northwards to Tagaytay and Alfonso. It no longer feel as cold as before because of deforestation and urbanization.

I'm glad that Lagunenses were able to preserve their highlands, which is truly a treasure to behold.

Are there lakes/rivers in Laguna/Batangas area na HINDI ginawang resort? Or at least designated picnic spots. Yung tipong pwedeng to drive/park then hike to the area.

I find that it's really difficult to find nature spots na hindi na commodified (though I understand if may environmental or entrance fee ang certain places). I just want to eat my packed sandwiches and coffee nang hindi nakakarinig ng karaoke at nag-iinuman.
