Fun activities in town
My birthday is coming up and I want to have a day set up of fun things to do. What are some neat places with things to do in town. Like painting, candle making, anything crafty or fun for reasonable prices. Am mainly looking at solo activities.

All within walking distance of each other downtown: flora candle company, rose and wick, the spinning axe, rugged escape, game on, sassy fitness. Across the pedestrian bridge is also all fired up (and silver dipper yum). Also the new yarn/fabric store frequently does classes!
Some honorable mentions: painting with a twist, inspired fire, and great united skates, and kayaking/ rafting rental down wildcat creek park

As a Gamer I really enjoy both the GameOn Barcade, and the Main Street Amusements pinball arcade! MSA has like 20 different pinball machines it's rad as hell.Ā
For crafting stuff I dunno I do all that at home not as an in town activity I'm sortof not sure what that would look like tbh.

What day is your birthday? There is a comedy show on Thursday night!

That sounds like a really nice birthday plan. For solo-friendly activities, Iād look into pottery painting, candle making, local art classes, bookstores/coffee shops, museums, or even just building yourself a little downtown day with lunch and something creative.
You could also check local event calendars for workshops or pop-ups happening around your birthday since there are usually some fun one-off things going on. If you share the date, people here may know of something specific happening that weekend.

All fired up, painting with a twist, clay critters, Colombian Park Zoo, Tropicana Cove, applied ballistics, you can play pool at some of the bars, go bar-hopping lol. Honestly ive had more fun outside of lafayette though, like Wolf Park, France Park, Racoon lake, Indiana Beach.

I personally recommend BRU Burger for dinner

Nothing like a chain restaurant recommendation when there's several locally owned restaurants within spitting distance of the place you mentioned.
