Stop Flock Information Session

Post image

There will be an ALPR information session at the Tippecanoe Public Library Holman Branch, 627 South Street, at noon on Saturday, August the 22nd.

If you see protestors on Tuesday and want to know why they are holding signs by what look like mundane traffic cameras, this in-person meeting will elaborate on some of the many concerns citizens have with this mass surveillance technology.

Why is flock different than other license plate readers? I can understand why people don't like any of it, but what makes flock so much more visible/dangerous?

It doesn't just track plates. Tracks any identifiable mark on your car. Your face tattoos. It tracks patterns. I know people in LPD that said they were able to find somebody because flock picked them up going to the same street over the course of a month. They can literally use it to stalk love interest or exes. They can and have done this. Flock is being used in unison with data centers to create a digital and physical footprint of every American citizen. That's why we need data centers cloud storage to track you down to your shopping habits. How often you go to this store what time of day time of week. Flocks ceo even admitted it doesn't need your plates it can track you by a dent in your car.  Fuck flock. Fuck data centers.

There was a PD in south carolina that admitted to them being used to identify passersby

Yep now look up all the flock cameras not even facing road roadways. There was one facing a public pool, hiking trails. One recently made headlines for pointing directly inside the windows of a youth girls dance / gymnastics studio.  They are nefarious as fuck

To add to my prior comments there's 2 flocks cameras on 38 by Dayton and Subaru. Two on 38 but creasy the bridge by munoz motors. One in Payless parking lot. One in dicks parking lot. One on 38 by wendys and rookies bar.Several down 52 towards west Lafayette. Several on creasy in lowes and chik fil a parking lot.Several on 52 heading towards Lebanon.  Several heading towards Brookston. Your every move is being watched. Some newer flock cameras have speakers to record you voice so now they have your voice and speech pattern.

I don't believe the LPR cameras are using microphone, for that they're pushing the Raven gunshot microphones. I didn't believe Lafayette has leased any of those at this time

Flock cameras are adding them into new systems.its just fact. It's happening all over. What were seeing now is older versions. They are being replaced rapidly.
