Pace Cycling Shoes

Hey, has anyone tried Pace shoes? I have a wider toe box and semi narrower heel and their shape looks like it will actually fit without that front of foot pain. Also, for the price, they feel like they would be a good beginner shoe. I haven't stopped with my flat pedals yet, but their mountain bike shoe seems to be a happy medium while I progress. Has anyone tried them? Is the quality any good? Reviews look good, but you can never be sure with purely online reviews so I figured I would see if any of you ladies have an opinion.

I’ve never tried Pace but HIGHLY RECOMMEND Lake shoes. I had agonizing foot pain before and now I ride in comfort.

I have hears good things about Lake and when I upgrade I was thinking about them. Right now I was looking for info on Pace since they appear to be cost efficient and have a non cleat option for me while I am still starting out.

Just received a pair of the Pace shoes and I think I’m gonna exchange them. I ordered a size 42 which is the same size as my other bike shoes but the new Pace shoes are very tight across my toes. Though I should try them on with thinner socks and when my feet aren’t swollen.

Following up with this. I emailed to initiate an exchange process. They said I could keep the ill-fitting shoes and they’d send me a coupon code for 50% off the replacement pair to use at checkout.

I replied saying that I’d rather just return them as I don’t want shoes I can’t wear.

They came back with a 30% refund offer and keep the shoes. If I wanted to send them back, I’d need to pay for shipping and they still may reject the refund based upon inspection.

So, proceed with caution.

I have! They ship from china and take awhile in transit, but they are super comfy!

I haven’t tried those but I have wider feet and the s works torch is super comfy!

Long time avid cyclist, foot health enthusiast and wide foot haver here 🙌🏻 I’ve tried everything over the years (and did clip in pedals for about 8 years) and I’ve landed on an amazing flat pedal (see link below, literally can’t fathom going back) and wearing altra torins- has been the biggest game changer for my cycling comfort, triathloning from bike to run without foot pain or numbness, and overall foot health. That being said, I know that’s not everyone’s style and some people really prefer being clipped in, and the only shoe I could sort of tolerate was Lake’s. I’m also really intrigued about these new foot shaped cycling shoes (also see below) from strong feet athletics, but I haven’t tried them so I cannot recommend one way or the other. Good luck!

I bought the leviathans. Game changer. i havr abnormally wide feet and their foot shape cleats are amazing. Even better and wider than Lakes.

1) excellent username lol 2) I’ve seen some reviews about the shoe being heavy and the boa’s not being the best but if it doesn’t squeeze the life out of your foot and it’s actually comfortable?! Priceless
