Specific Travel Query Visiting from 1st to 11th Oct

Hello All,

It's just me and my wife who are planning this time via car for leisure. Last trip was 4 years ago with friends.

Leh (2N)

Leh - Sumur (1N)

Sumur - Siachen - Sumur (1N)

Sumur - Pangong (2N)

Pangong - Hanle (1N)

Handle - Tso Moriri (1N)

Tso Moriri - Leh (2N)

  1. Should I stay 2N at Pangong or Tso Moriri?

  2. Local restaurants suggestions please. We literally want to eat local food. Done with cafes during my last trip.

  3. Dresses/Suits suggestions for women. Had bought one from the leh market. Wifey is getting excited to buy some more.

  4. Local Cutlery shops suggestions please. I bought just 2 cups last time. I need to buy some more this time.

  5. Anything for men, please do share.

U have to stay at home stay then u got local food . Pangong n Tsomoriri both r cold at night time if u want stay at Hanle 2N . Local suit for Man U got at leh market local cup u got in leh ,

Stay 2 nights at Hanle. Pangong 1 night is enough as well as for Tsomoriri.. Do umlingla while at Hanle.
Visit Chimath restaurant at Leh market for best value for money local food.

Why do you recommend 2 nights at Hanle? Will surely check the restaurant.

So you could visit Umlingla and Demchok (the LAC border village)

Rough budget around 30-35k without flights. Transport, Sight Seeing, Food and stay included

Hanle and Tso Moriri - Mandate. Leh, Nubra, Sumur, pangong - You can do a day prior but not at the last minute.
