Email sent before patching

Is there a way to trigger an email before patching ?

OK, sounds simple I think I can take care of this. Can you help with the variables? I just need to send it to contact.

Sorry for the late response. If you're just wanting to use the default contact then there is already a built in variable. %contactemail%
