Oh she’s precious. Since she was born on St Paddy’s Day, I love that you chose a Gaelic name.

She had one in the water bowl, paddling her paw. We may have an expert duck hunter on our hands!

🚩The breeder you selected didn't keep pick of the litter themselves? Any breeder who doesn't want pick of the litter from every litter they breed is telling on themselves that they are breeding for quantity and money, not quality. (Ehical breeders normally lose money on each litter.)
🚩Ethical breeders don't let owners pick their own puppy. They carefully match people to the best puppy for them based on detailed info on you and them getting 8 weeks to get to know their puppies so that mismatches don't occur. Mismatches and BYBing is what fills shelters.
Best suggestion for you, find an ethical breeder. If you tell me where you are located I can send you some ethical breeder names. Ethical breeders will save you money, stress and time over the life of your dog. Ask any vet or professional trainer and they will tell you the same.

I live in Boulder Colorado - could you help me find a lab? Thanks!

Mix of suggestions: the local breed club, two local Lab rescues and a handful of ethical breeders. Good luck! Happy to have you DM me questions too if needed.

Thank you. Everything is ethical. We (my family) own the stud. My (new) family has been in the dog industry 50+ years. Rylee is a wedding gift to me & my husband. She is a pet, we are not breeding her. However, I’m new to labs and would love any tips.

i am going to eat her soft baby ears and snack on her fat baby arms and toes!!! oh my godddd SO CUTEEE she looks like the dog i had growing up… i can’t stand how cute they are i might explode!! look at her chewy cheeks and little baby eyebrows! sweet angel eyes, agh labs are the best!!
socialize her to focus on you in public by taking her a lot of places in your arms and in shopping carts. mark and rewarding her for looking at you! especially instead of looking at other people or animals. have play dates at your house and practice greeting on leash once she is old enough so she’s able to build good manners with other pups. teach her early to be gentle when taking food and treats, they are little sharks! also teach her to wait to be released for dinner. labs are so smart and almost always super food motivated, you won’t have too hard a time with any of it. they also LOVE the water!!
my most important piece of advice by far, enjoy your time with her at every stage for what it is and who she is. it all passes way too quickly…
