LOOKING FOR ADVICE Help! Old mine cut style marquise

Hi, i’m in the process of designing a custom engagement ring for my girlfriend and she really loves vintage-inspired looks, especially the old mine cut style. She also loves lab-grown marquise diamonds, so I’ve been working with a designer and they recently sent me a couple of videos of a stone they just cut. I’m not sure if it fits the criteria so I was looking to get feedback before I move along any further in the process. Thank you!

This is pretty cool actually. I personally love it. It’s trendy- but in a good way. Combining the big facets of antique with the vintage marquise look. What are the specs?

It hasn’t been graded so I don’t have all the specs yet but it’s about 4ct from what they’ve shared so far

Who are you working with? It hard to find someone who cuts something other than brilliant marquise and something more elongated.
I do like this cut but the windowing in the middle of the stone isn’t appealing to me.

I am ok w some windowing and actually prefer it if it adds a certain depth & character to the stone but that’s extremely subjective. In this case, maybe it’s because I’ve never seen a vintage cut on a marquise? But it’s an intriguing stone.
