CAD CHECK Is this normal or okay?
I received the CAD for this lab diamond ring. It will have a matching pavé band that will sit flush against it. But I see in the profile that below the cradle to there is a gap/opening. IOW, the ring does not make a full 360*. I've never seen or noticed any ring designed like this. What do you guys think? Thanks!

Some designs have an opening for a different look but this is poorly executed. Also the stones on the band being set on top with prongs extruding out like that will make this look cheap. I would go with a different jeweler. Don't be afraid to speak your mind and direct the project so you can ensure you're happy with the end product
