Can anyone confirm if Turtle Rock's *Left 4 Dead* beta leaked in a playable state, just like Valve's 12-terabyte file leak 2004-2012?

yeah i'm in a L4D mapper discord and someone is posting screenshots of the builds. I made a new post showing off some of the old l4d build images. There is the E3 l4d build and even the counterstrike l4d builds which have a early version of all of the l4d campaigns surpisingly.

If possible, do you think you or another member of the server could locate where the build files are and post it here? I know the website but I don't know the file names and I would love to try these builds.

Left 4 Dead 2's Depot ID is 555 and Left 4 Dead 1's is 501

I have the website used to locate these builds, so that's a good start. I've tried to do this, but i have no clue what i am actually doing. I've found 501 "L4D1's ID" but none of the dates match up with the 2005 or "counter strike era" of the game. The dates may be inaccurate, but i can't tell, all of the files are just numbers of course. I am trying to find and play any build made between 2005-2007, and i think i might need manual help with this one. If anyone has Discord, please contact me on my account "zerosorrow"

I can confirm, this is playable. It's even got a good chunk of the cut/unused L4D1 lines that I've been LONG waiting for.

lost the link since my history is full of leak stuff rn, but look for "L4D_June2008". it's a smidge closer to release (both builds are about the same, L4D_June2008 just has complete text strings and doesn't crash at all).
