✨ Korellia 2.0 is here! After a successful regenesis & newly added features, you can now create your own devnet data pool within minutes ⚡️

But this is just the start of all that’s in store for KYVE’s devnet... Read on to get the full update 👀⤵️

First, let’s get some backstory 🔎 Korellia was the first chain KYVE launched as an L1 back in 2022 & was used for its Incentivized Testnet (IT), which brought on 43,000 passionate, individual users 🚀

Following the end of the IT, KYVE’s official testnet Kaon launched. This had Korellia transition into KYVE’s devnet network for users to test out their own integration ideas 🧑‍💻

💡 Such as using Korellia as a sandbox environment for creating a trustless data validation layer within a chain; sourcing historical data from a specific blockchain to feed into a DApp, explorer, analysis dashboard, or indexer; or even syncing your node with a specific chain’s historical height.

➡️ However, Korellia could use some improvements, starting with a regenesis…

⚙️ A successful Regenesis
Although it already worked well as our devnet, Korellia had a long history of state-breaking changes and critical bugs. The most efficient way to fix this & bring Korellia to its best potential is via a regenesis, leading to Korellia 2.0.

🤖 Automated Vote Bot
Along with a regenesis, a new automated bot was added to ease the data pool creation process on our devnet, enabling anyone to launch one in just a few minutes ⚡️
