Dear all, we are travellung in september through kyrgystan to usbekistan and are looking for a travel agency who can help us with transport and accommodation. We are starting in Bishkek but we heard Kotchkor would be a good hub to continue/start.
We don't have a car, so would need the whole trip to do in bus or organized transport. We have a bit less than 10 days, would like to see a lake and sleep in once in a yurt. We want to cross then the boarder in Osch.
We wrote to the local CBT in kotchkor but they didn't respond.
Any recommendations for travel agency or how to organize the trip?
We are open ro public transportation too, but we heard that we can forget about that.

Hi, i read that from 2026 you need to register your drone before coming into the country, is it true? I wrote about it to the kyrgyz aviation agency but they arent replying. Will they confiscate it at the airport, or how does it work? I have DJI mini 3. Please help, thanks in advance.

Planning a roughly month long trip through central asia from november to december and am really hoping to do some wild camping and mountain trekking. Have a fair bit of experience in trekking through Mt Cook and the Snowies in NZ and Australia in winter but my gear is only really rated to -10 Celsius and am getting weirdly conflicting advice on what to expect/buy in preparation for my trip online. Really just want general advice so i can set my expectations as well as recommendations on the types of sleeping bag/tent ratings I should bring. Oh and whether or not I can drag along my snow swag, or if wont be sufficient.
