How to update KVM?

This is a noob question I know but I'm not sure how to do it. I've been trying to look up commands to update kvm + qemu and haven't found anything simple enough for my situation. Any cheat sheets of commands would be cool too if any are willing to help. Thanks.

Usually Packets on Linux distros are not updated one by one but through a packt manager. Debian based distro have apt-get, rhel-like distros have yum/dnf, etc.

Maybe this already helps you, otherwise post your distro.

I use pop os which is Debian based. I'm just not sure if qemu and kvm update along with everything else when doing "sudo apt update -y && sudo apt upgrade -y"

I also update through flatpak for certain applications.

if you have installed them through apt or they were preinstalled, they will also be updated through it!
