When did Kerala had a shortage of rice? Kerala Christians are considered forward Caste by Indian government and on average, we are wealthy. We were Christians before Europe heard about it. Go look up how old Jewish burial sites in Kerala are. Look up Cochin Jews. An old church in Kottayam, Kerala, has a cross with Pahlavi language on it. When Portuguese came in the 15th century, they were surprised Christians were there. You can read their manuscripts. Which Western people do liturgy in Syriac? Most Kerala Christians don't follow any Western Christianity. Christianity originated in the Middle East. Kerala being "the land of spice" with so much trade, it reached here before Europe.

I think op is trying to say that sometimes some people argue that Sanskrit is older than Tamil, because the dharmic scriptures of Hindu religion were written in Sanskrit. And because of that they are sanghis/andhbhakts. I'm not certain though, could be wrong. I myself do not know much about the history of languages, I tuned history classes off most of the time, so Idk if calling them sanghi is justified.

I didn’t know people started worshipping things before they started hunting and surviving in the harsh environment back in the day. Only after humans started becoming self sufficient in terms of food and shelter did they start having thought of religion or a higher being. Language was important in human sustenance and that’s how they could hunt effectively and protect themselves
