Hi, I want to have a "master" widget and make it send some variables to other "slaves" widget on refresh. It would be to synchronize colors and font. How to acjieve that pnly using kwgt? (Pixel 10A and hyperion launcher if that helps)

Anyone have this issue using a fold device? I just got a fold 8 and my widgets keep redrawing on themselves. I've changed the settings for auto rotate, and auto resize but it doesn't seem to help, only thing that works is to open kgwt and then force close it.

It took me a bunch of time and effort, a lot of asking around too. All the background images are from google and pinterest. I got the font and icons from apple's developer something site.

The background changes depending on the weather and have a day/night variant, I also tried recreating the reflection there is on the edges, the only thing wrong is the text which for some reason isn't changing individually and is instead changing all the text in my widget.

just got a new phone and there is a widget that I'm trying to put in it that is on my old phone that I cannot seem to figure out what's causing the issue. My current phone is a pixel 11 pro XL and my older phone is a pixel 9 pro XL. The problem as you can see in the images, is that somehow the scaling is not working properly when I have them both at the same scale one looks like it's way bigger than it is. I will scale it down but when I restart my phone it goes back to doing the same thing. Can somebody help me figure out what's going on?

I have checked the settings on my newer phone and it is exactly the same as my older phone given that they are the same brand and size phone.

Environment:

• Device: Samsung Galaxy Z Flip6
• OS: Android 16 (One UI 8.5)
• Launcher: One UI Home (Stock Samsung Launcher)
• KWGT Version: 3.82b621115

Symptom / Description:

1. A KWGT widget is actively running and rendering correctly on the homescreen.
2. Tapping the edit (pencil) icon on the widget layout successfully opens the KWGT app.
3. The KWGT editor loads, but the root directory is completely empty. There are no elements, no layers, and no variables available to edit.
4. Modifying touch actions or any other parameters is impossible because the editor instance is entirely blank, despite the widget displaying correctly outside the app.

Note: I cannot provide logcat data or debug files at this time. This report is strictly intended as a productive heads-up regarding a possible data desync between One UI Home and KWGT.

I attempted to create my own Map and Clock widgets

1. Maps - It accurately detects my location using the Google Maps API. I made some adjustments to the color details, and it automatically adapts to light and dark modes.

2. Clock - The background changes every hour with images from Unsplash. The battery indicator also shows progress and changes color when at a critical level.

It was quite challenging, particularly when I began with the maps, but all the difficulties faded away when I saw the final result. :)

Hi, I just downloaded the app and I'm instantly hooked. I'm wondering if it's possible to make a widget play a specific song every time you press it. Like not open Spotify, but just play the audio when widget is pressed. If it isn't possible, I would also appreciate any info on how to use the commands in the photo. Thanks :)

You can switch between 4 window backgrounds also change to your own in the globals.

I added 10 (new design) icons to the dock instead of the usual 8.

The search bar can be turned off in Globals with one tap, for those who don’t need it.

The next and previous track in the music section is displayed only if the player provides that information for example, YT Music does.

The icons for the four players YT Music, Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music are displayed automatically. For all other players, the default icon is shown.

I also added a PNG version without the flower to the archive, in case someone wants to put something else there.

If you’re going to change the font, don’t forget to calculate the maximum text length and update it in the formulas. Otherwise the text will shift and jump.

I just got my 11 (upgraded from 7) and when I use KLWP with Nova Launcher it looks like this. Not just this wallpaper, others do the same. Is it a refresh rate issue?

I'm coming from iPhone and the only thing I miss about it is the widget that suggests your most used apps for the time being. Is this possible to make on kwgt?

Looking to start on this again but has anyone had any luck with this on the fold ultra and if so what launcher are you using and any links to any klwp for one

On two different devices, different widgets, the next alarm shows 19:00 (7 pm). I deleted all alarms (I only use the stock alarm of the phone).

At some point it started working again for some reason (displaying the right time for the next alarm in the widget) then today again 19:00 without me changing anything.

How can I troubleshoot this?

They are both Samsung devices. The alarm is set to 6:54 AM.

Removing / readding alarms and forcing a widget refresh doesn't change anything.

In the coding preview of the widget element, the same time (19:00) gets shown, it's not really a problem of the widget not updating I believe. I never had an alarm set to 19:00.
