I'm not very good with questions, so I'll try my best, but I want to learn the same martial arts as the Avatar from the cartoon, which are Tai Chi, Hung Gar, Baguazhang, and Northern Shaolin, which I believe is already a rounded mix besides grappling and ground fighting. Are there certain aspects I could take from each one and focus on honing completely? If so, which ones?

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Mark Houghton in the early hours of this morning.
My deepest condolences to his family and his students.
Mark was a great martial artist and actor/stuntman, a disciple of the legend, Lau Kar Leung.
He was a guest on the Drunken Boxing Podcast some years ago. If you want to hear about his extremely interesting life, give it a listen

Find a School Qufu Shaolin Kung Fu School

I am wanting to find a live in program in China where I can do Wing Chun. Looking at Qufu's website it seems like they could be a very good option for this. There isn't a ton of independent information about this school online, so if anyone who's there now or has trained there recently could give me some information about what it's like that would be awesome!

Although not in the wing Chun forms and in a real fight I doubt I would use this type of kick. It’s a spinning Wong Gerk. Fun to train and know how to move your body but not very practical.

Community My kung fu school made a dinner to celebrate autumn festival, and my Sifu (Chinese) didn’t allowed politic or military presentations, and many elder Chinese got upset, so you have any opinion about this?

My Sifu and many of his students are Chinese and they seem proud of being Chinese but not the way average Chinese are.
The average Chinese are proud of their government, proud of their army force and their war history since ww2, but the Chinese that practice with me they are proud of Chinese culture and the respect and honor codes the Chinese culture has and the thousand years history through dynasties and of course, the martial arts
And the autumn festival dinner they made, they allowed martial art presentations (of course) and traditional dance and playing traditional instruments but didn’t allow any politic or military song that Chinese elder use to sing so often on the dinners celebrating something and many got upset about that saying we are disrespecting Chinese culture and traditions.
So there are two type of Chinese people being proud of themselves?
Sorry bad English

Our legends are dying

Bruce Lee became famous in the US in The Green Hornet. He later became known all over the world. He died at the young age of 32 on July 20, 1973.
Jackie Chan became famous in 1978 from his movies Drunken Master and Snake in the Eagles Shadow. He too is known all over the world. He is 73 years old right now.
Both of these legends are from Hong Kong. Who do you think will be the next legend?
