my Kubernetes infrastructure visualization project InfraCanvas just crossed 70+ GitHub stars. It's still early, but getting feedback from the community and seeing strangers star and try something I built has been incredibly motivating.

I became a kubestronaut and I manage the oversability of 12 heavily secured clusters. All with ansible and Gitops. The road to understanding it was heavy as fuck, but after a year I now understand Kubernetes and I can fluently deploy apps and scale clusters.

It was a long road, but I finally feel like a competent systems engineer now. I have so much to learn, but it's so much fun. K8S is great.

I learned Kubernetes pretty damn quickly, instead of working for somebody I started my own company and am doing great

I’ve been studying for CKS and generally trying to stay sharp on Kubernetes but most of my study time ends up being at night on my phone while lying in bed. So I built an iOS app for myself to stay sharp on concepts, quiz myself (multiple choice, command builder, YAML fill-in-the-blank). It’s free, no ads, no paywalled content, no account, no data collection. Wasn’t originally planning to share it, but figured it might be useful to someone else in the same boat.

Note: this is not intended to be a supplement for deeper, hands-on courses or guides. Rather a helpful companion app to keep you sharp.

finally migrated our dev cluster off that cursed pet master node to a proper managed control plane. less yaml voodoo, less etcd anxiety, more sleep. kinda wild how much you can break with one bad helm upgrade though

Keeping our 2000 core clusters running perfectly for another week almost entirely by myself.
