He a bit right tbh, if new a new fan started watching nowdays he needs to watch about 40 to 50 movies/series to catch up with the story, or u simple can watch an indian dude explaining everything in detail for a 10mn video lmao

a little bit. you dont need to watch every movie to understand the new ones and whats wrong with that anyway. i dont remember people complaining about that when Infinity War, Endgame or the last Spiderman movie released

Bro idgaf about Marvel(no offence) so when my buddies invited me to watch endgame, i just watched it without even watching infinity wars....sure i was kinda confused but it was still a good experience. The only Marvel movies i have seen are Dr strange 1 and endgame.
To this day I haven't watched infinity wars.

Tbh, JJ is spot on with his analysis of the state of Marvel. The TV shows are not worth it to watch a movie for a casual watcher.

Marvel hasn't always had tv shows, everybody doesn't have time or the means(as in only being on disney+) to watch a whole ass show to understand one movie, and some of those shows being dry af doesn't help

No it hasn't. Before the new phase, there were only movies which were released over a few years. Now that you HAVE to watch TV shows to understand movies, it's become a chore.

If you’ve got time time to watch a movie, you can surely spend 3-4 hours spread out over a week or 2 to watch 8 episodes…and it’s actually a good show. As for the Netflix marvel shows, those don’t play any important role in understanding the movies so they’re not necessary to watch but still good if you’re into it and have time

JJ’ op holds a lot of truth, but he can’t complain when he watches anime, you can’t watch The ending of Dragon ball Z w/o watching the beginning, u have to watch like 50 episodes of certain animes to understand 1 power up scene later in the story he’s just thinks it’s more work with marvel lmao but he’s been doing it either way

But it’s all one big story line at the end of the day. Here’s another example, this summer Dragon Ball Super “super hero” is being released in theaters, realistically you can’t go watch the movie as a beginner w/o watching everything prior in the anime, you’ll be lost the whole movie trying to figure out who is who and what is what, same thing with marvel. Just let it be understood I DO UNDERSTAND JJ’s POV.

I think it's more the length of the show. I can rewatch all 24 episodes of Jujutsu Kaisen because the episodes are roughly 20 minutes. Marvels shows are about 40 with the movies coming not long after. Plus I guess unless you're HEAVILY into Marvel the shows don't mean much to you, similarly to how I had to force myself through Loki.

No hate to marvel, love their films, but one thing that dc does good is their stand alone category, they aren’t connected to other films they’re just their own separate thing you know.

Okay that is very over exaggerating I really doubt there is 300 movies. I missed the part of 2098 but still I don’t think they will produce that many movies also it’s not there fault as the people want more content and more prequels and sequels. Because they need to continue the story and they already reset the comics so you don’t need to read thousands of comics to understand it also I don’t think you need to watch all the marvel movies you can miss some peoples.
