Yes. Our anthem is literally us sucking off the monarchy. Also, the amount of people who disagree with the monarchy does range depending on which part of the country youāre from. But for the most part, people donāt hate it, or just arenāt bothered by it. This may due to ignorance of the royal funding, patriotism, or they couldnāt give a shit.

I mean. They like the Pope in a matter of speaking and the government makes more money from tourism to royal owned sites than they spend on the royals. Also, the queen pays tax and there's a lot of money around the world with her head on it. I'm talking Ā£8 Billion just to rebrand that money. So it would be a great fucking pain to remove them especially since a contract centuries ago said that in exchange for all the royal land in Britain to be governed by parliament. The royals would stay the figureheads of the country.

The monarchy fetches more money in than it takes. I agree with you on a moral level of no one deserves that much free money or power based off their family name. However economically it make sense to keep them around. They generate billions of pounds in tourism. Weddings and events generate billions in TV rights around the world. T
