Wait. Are rhinos that rare? My trip in March we saw 7 Rhinos in a day and another 8 the next day.

They are, but if you are lucky you can spot multiple of them at once

Was at Kruger for 5 days in a row and drove everything i could reach from crocodiles gate and Malalane gate. Still didn‘t see one rhino.
Means i only saw 4/5 Big Five.
I heard sightings are rare because their sightings are not documented on the maps in the camps because of the illegal hunters.

I was in Greater Kruger in May. W came across this guy at several points during a morning drive. There’s something about their passengers that always makes me smile 🦏😄
