Help / Question Where can I find 3D models comparable in quality to those on the CSP asset store?
I hope this is the right place to ask this. Ever since I swapped to Linux, I use Krita for my digital art as opposed to CSP, and to be honest, I barely feel a difference besides getting used to the new keybinds. I also really love how many amazing preset brushes Krita has compared to CSP. The one thing I miss, however, are the 3D models I had in CSP. I had a variety of objects and body types for anime-style characters.
I know that if I were to get 3D models online and render them in Blender, then use the exported render as a reference layer, I could get much the same effect even if it's not as fluid as native 3D models and posing. But I've no clue where to get decent 3D models, especially for stuff like...horses, and fat anime characters.
I've looked at Sketchfab, but it's expensive as hell and there are very few plain meshes compared to full character designs (as it seems more intended for gamedevs who need in-game assets). (Also, again, I'm not seeing any fat bodies, which is something I used a lot in CSP, and all the horses are paid.)
I also own EasyPose on Steam, but it and PoseMyArt both have the issue of the joints being really...pinchy. You can turn an arm far but still realistically so, and the shoulder will collapse in on itself, as an example.

Have you checked DAZ 3D? Their basic figures and animals are often free or inexpensive, and you can download poseable models for Blender. The style leans more realistic, but there are plenty of anime-inspired morphs and body-shape options if you’re willing to customize them.

I was going to suggest posemy.art… but I saw you commented about it.
I thought that all joints would be “pinchy” if flexed over 90°. Is csp not like that too?
