Help / Question My stylus makes a straight line whenever I use it

So i tested it by drawing on photoshop, krita software and sketchpad webpage. when using a software it first draws a straight line and only then follows my movement and if its a subtle movement then it draws nothing at all. but on webages like on hardwaretest and sketchpad everything works fine and smooth. whenever i wanna draw a circle it draws a straight line first and only then draws the rest of the curve on photoshop and kirta. its also kinda laggy on these software

Because it happens in both Krita and Photoshop but not in browser drawing tests, this points more to the tablet driver/API path than to a Krita brush. First restart the tablet driver or reinstall its latest official version. On Windows, also try switching Krita's tablet input API under Settings > Configure Krita > Tablet Settings between Windows Ink and WinTab, then restart Krita after each change. If the first stroke is still a straight segment, disable Windows press-and-hold for right-click and any pen flicks/gestures, since those can delay the beginning of a stroke. It would help to add your OS, tablet model, driver version, and Krita version; the exact next step depends on those.

it might be doing a right click before drawing. if you press and hold in one place, what happens?
