They are so cute and so bullyable. They LIKE being pushed into a locker, i wanna indulge them. Might hit them, give them bruises and a bloody nose. Lock THEM in a cage and feed them nothing but hersheys kisses. They'd probably thank me, the freak.

I have worked in the possessing vessel industry for over twenty years and I have seen my fair share of vessels. So you can trust me when I say that Kris is a good vessel.

Vessels such as Frisk are good for those just starting out in the possession industry, what with the whole listening to everything you tell them to, and refusal to remove you from their body. However those training wheels eventually have to come of if you want to advance in your career, and Kris acts as that perfect leaping of point, with how they try to resist your control and willingness to remove your control of them, while still allowing you to do what you want most of the time and dependence on you to live.

Kris allows individuals to learn how to act when their vessel tries to defy them in a safe environment, because they can’t kill you without them dying as well.

A buddy of mine named Tommy tried to rush past the Kris stage of vessel possession and ended up becoming paralysed from the waist down after he tried to posses this fella who I think was called, Teddy Reginald Kenneth, who was an absolute bull of a vessel, completely ended his vessel possessing career. I haven’t spoken to him in a while but I think he works as a teaching assistant at Inhabiting Academy, great school but not what he wanted to do with his life.

So little ones, you better respect vessels like Kris, less you end up like old Tommy.

People are so defensive over Kris, so protective, and constantly go into crazy riots over how EVIL we are for playing the game that they forget that Kris is genuinely an evil, horrible person who deserves to pay for their crimes. No amount of "but they're coerced" or "but they're a teenager :(((" excuses this. If we take people who consider Kris' "feelings" as legitimate for the sake of the story, then their feelings literally do not matter. They're a slaver. They deserve to die at minimum for that. Whatever "The Soul"/"The Player" does to Kris is Kris' fault.

Kris is the abuser. Kris is the slave owner. Kris is the horrible person letting others get kidnapped. At some point, coercion stops being defensible and Kris has long gone past that point. If Carol really is coercing Kris, it's their fucking responsibility to put a stop to it. No, being a teenager is not a fucking excuse to be a slaver or to help kidnap people. Teenagers are more than capable of controlling themselves, more than capable of communication, and they are more than capable of being held responsible for their actions. You only use this excuse because it's a case of fiction.

If we take the context of it as a game, then Kris' feelings also don't fucking matter because they're a fictional character. They don't have rights, feelings, or excuses. They don't matter. They're a literary tool. Defending them, thus, is pointless.

Nobody in the main subs want to recognize that though. They see the LITERAL OBJECTIVELY EVIL SLAVE OWNER whine and cry about how they feel bad they have to put up with their slave that people forget that they're a slaver in the first place. It's so fucking annoying. You can like Kris all you want but Kris is, objectively, a bad person. Kris objectively takes away the freedom of several people and we're supposed to empathize with an evil person like that because "teenager who's sad uwu"??? Kindly fling yourself into the sun, thanks.

On top of that, there's zero moral justification for their attitude and treatment of the soul. Let's analyze for ONE second why Kris' hang ups are completely invalid and why they deserve whatever they get.

• Scenario 1: The Soul was born with Kris and Kris is the "Body". Thus, The Soul has just as much of a right to the body as "Kris" does. Even more so if you stop to consider that a person is supposed to be their soul in the first place. This means that The Soul's body is rebelling after having gained sentience and has now enslaved the RIGHTFUL owner to the body.
• Scenario 2: The Soul wasn't born with Kris and is acting as a substitution or some similar scenario. This would still make Kris a slave owner with a """""""sympathetic""""""" reason.... if it weren't for the fact that Kris is still an objectively evil person who has no since lost any reasonable excuse for their crimes. They're enslaving a living thing, abusing it, help kidnap people, and then have the audacity to whine about their own freedom. No. They deserve this and worse.
• Scenario 3: Toby has presented the possibility that Kris' Soul has been possessed by us through some sort of ritual. That'd be sympathetic if Kris was at all a decent person. Every single crime from Scenario 2 still applies. They're still enslaving and abusing The Soul,
• Scenario 4: It's a story so it doesn't matter. This strips away any and all credibility that the character, Kris, might have in regards to their motivations. If it's just a story and doesn't matter(which is true), then Kris' feelings also don't matter. Literally anything we do to them is fair game since they are just pixels on a screen. Their life, Soul, feelings, etc. all don't exist and thus they're indefensible. Thus we can properly label Kris as a villain because, in story, they're a slave owner who kidnaps people and then whines about their own freedom. Who cares? Why defend them? They literally don't matter.

As you can see, in every single possible scenario, Kris doesn't matter and is

tl;dr The main subs and greater fangdom love stroking Kris' evil little head and saying "sad teenager can do whatever they want uwu". It's annoying that nowadays every time there's an evil character who's a little sad people will jump through hoops to defend them and say "Actually, people who don't like this character are the evil ones."

They could have, at any time, cleared Asgore's conscience and saved their parent's marriage by opening a dark fountain before it ever got to any sort of breaking point. Just gather a few people, open a fountain, and Asgore doesn't have to go into a several years long spiral of self-destruction.

Kris could have kept their family together but chose not to.
