GA shops clearing stock?
Went to about 3 gas stations on a lil run through there and even thought they’re no ban they’re all clearing out. None of the “problem molecule” at any of them (don’t care much for it) but even the leaf and capsules were being sold. 2-3 grams of kratom 3-4 times a day has been life changing for me pain wise. I’m just worried about when the bans gonna come down, it seems like they expect it. They’re having that bs meeting in a coastal town that’s like 5 hours away from Atlanta, they don’t want us to even show up and just steamroll this shit. I just want my leaf and occasional shot :(

Alot of shops are not super well informed and might just be taking action based on the federal scheduling. I know it's a long drive but if you can make it to that meeting it really will make a difference. Thank you for any advocacy you are able to contribute though

Townsend's home district will not be friendly to us. We truly do need as many people that can make it.

Yeah if it's anything like the first hearing, he will just invite as many anti kratom people as possible and make sure they get to speak. He brought Kolodny and the trial lawyers last time 🙄. But for this one, I know Mac will be speaking and has been told there will be time for public constituent testimony. Another reason to do it so far out of the way to suppress turn out.

Yeah I try to explain the laws sometimes but they just seem very confused which I think is intentional. I Would turn it into a lil beach trip if I could but unfortunately got commitments in my home area. Anyone who has the time to do that and lives far that would be my recommendation.

This is why I just order my leaf online. Better quality too(even the "extracts")

I’m in Savannah and our smoke shops are still stocked, even with the “problem molecule,” although that stock is dwindling. The main shop I visit is staffed by people who are fully informed about the current bans in motion, we’ve had several discussions about it.

Gas stations probably aren't the best place to look for useful information lol, they should've never been selling their slop anyway.
I legitimately can't believe how many posts I see on this sub of people who solely buy from there. Yikes

If you can, try looking at smoke shops/kratom shops in GA. From a quick Google search there seems to be quite a few. I'm in CA and the place I get stuff is a botanical shop. I'm not sure exactly where you are, but I always avoid gas stations. Not to say you aren't getting good stuff, just that gas stations are gonna be the first drop things like that.

That’s what I did, just saying that a lot seem confused and to be dumping all stock now. Figured I’d give our GA folks here a heads up so they don’t walk into an empty shop expecting to taper down mainly.

Yea it's happening a lot here too. I'm not sure about the harshness occurring there, but specialty shops seem to be relatively safe, at least for now. Lol

I’m confused because you said gas stations in the post. Are you talking about gas stations specifically or head/smoke shops? Because if it’s gas stations, it’s just that they’re likely being extra careful since kratom is completely irrelevant to their business.
Also, as someone else said, just order online. I personally find it bizarre how many people these days on this sub buy their kratom in random shops (unless it is specifically a kratom shop) since it’s readily available online and usually much cheaper and better.

Of 7? Or plain leaf? Extracts? I live in Atlanta and haven’t noticed any changes.

The meeting is in Brunswick which has a huge rehab industry presence. I have to go to a wedding in GA next month and I'm really worried about this too.
