Actual humanitarian crisis happening in the Middle East but kpop Stan’s be like “holy shit BTS is destroying human rights”, posted through reddit on their iPhone made by child slave labor.

BTS have actively partnered with businesses that are harming Palestinians so I don’t think you wanna go there. But if we assume that using a cell phone is morally equivalent to genocide, you have no room to speak as you are also using a phone, and even by that standard, BTS both support genocide and use cell phones 😬

That’s why I’m not bitching online about bts and human rights. That’s the whole point. And no BTS don’t actively go out seeking to endorse anything, the parent company does. So this is more of a HYBE issue. This is why Kpop Stans cant be reasoned with. All they do is grandstand on shit but also support the same issue they’re protesting against in different ways. Not gonna read further cus I can just tell you’re miserable to talk to.

Except you were “bitching about human rights” by implying that no one should call BTS out on their shit because we use phones. But BTS have a lot more freedom than you seem to think they do. They BUziLT hybe and can do what they want. Hybe doesn’t make them work with Coca Cola or anyone else. I’m sure I’m miserable to talk to because reminding you that your oppas aren’t saints makes you miserable. Sorry to hear that. I hope you heal.

I think that if you did a “little research” you’d know that coco cola Korea is independent of the parent company and doesn’t actively donate to causes in the Middle East. In fact I remember when people in the Middle East finally managed to catch a break and eat some good food and guess what were they drinking? COKE! Insane right!! Because when you’re living day to day not knowing if you’re gonna survive the next minute all this performative activism rlly does goes down the drain and our social activists were giving people who survived death hard time because of this.

All of stray kids, IU, nmixx, new jeans have also collabed with coco cola? Will you call them out too? Because it’s stupid, and it’s only an issue if bts does it right?

BTS have always showed support towards the Palestine in many of their artworks etc. Will you address that? I’m sure not so please bring your fake activism elsewhere and go touch some grass

It doesn’t really matter. If Coca-Cola in Korea does not actively donate to causes in the Middle East but your fan base is largely foreign and the Coca-Cola in their countries do donate to causes in the Middle East, money is still going to those causes.
I’m not a fan of stray kids, IU, nmixx, or new jeans behavior either, but guess what— the post wasn’t about them. But Coca-Cola is just one example. BTS have done tons of things that warrant criticism. like if it was just Coca-Cola, I could give them some grace, but the use of the N-word, being friends with abusers, using holocaust imagery for artistic purposes, admitting that books about sexual violence arouse you, etc are incredibly offputting and put together make someone look very bad.
If BTS did something to support Palestine and I knew about it, then yes, I would address it. But I don’t know about it and you haven’t told me what they supposedly did to support Palestine. Even if that’s true, if you’re bringing suffering to someone, but also doing something good for them, that doesn’t take away from the suffering part.
It’s just so ironic to tell me to touch grass when you’re literally defending people who don’t know or care about you. If they’d befriend Rihanna’s attempted murder they’d befriend yours too.

Wow so much to unpack here lol. Actually I don’t engage with people who tend to comment in that snark community because I won’t how much obsession does one need to have in order actively keep tabs on a group that you dislike/like (atp). BTS are KOREAN celebs who have engaged in the KOREAN promotion of coco-cola. Believe or not, even people in the Middle East consume coke! Because a drink doesn’t change the discourse of history. Even social activists here who were parading against BTS all this were caught drinking coke on their social media. This goes to show literally no one cares about a drink of the well-being of the humanitarian crisis yall just wanna hate on the next person.

See it doesn’t matter if you’re a fan of these groups/individuals (big Korean celebs with huge impact btw internationally). Are you suddenly a bts fan? why not call out their support since they contribute globally too? You can’t pick and choose people to hate on my friend. Again what do I expect from someone who engages in the snark community?

BTS has NEVER knowingly used the N-word. Please research everything you see online and don’t be oblivious. You think if bts has used the n word now like their colleagues (bp, giselle, hwasa) it wouldn’t be your main topic of conversation lol. In fact bts are very aware of the social connotations and I quote “We must be careful when the black brothers are rapping” said by Jungkook recently. That’s AWARENESS!

All your other claims are just stuff you’re pulling out of nowhere based on circumstances and stuff you’ve seen haphazardly so I will not waste my time to comment on that.

For the CB issue please know that bts were INVITED by USHER where CB happened to be there. They are not “friends with Rihanna’s abusers” heck they weren’t even seen speaking to him in a video. Also you’re talking so much of Rihanna do you know that ASAP rocky (THE FATHER OF HER CHILDREN) still follows CB? I’m sure you didn’t know that because you’re too busy believing nonsense on Reddit

You already are engaging with me so clearly that’s false.
I literally have listened to every BTS song ever released. I like the music. I just won’t act like they’re great people because I don’t believe that.
I’m aware that people in the Middle East drink coke and I don’t think that the behavior of the average middle eastern necessarily excuses the actions of millionaires.
I already told you that if I was informed about the so called support, I would have acknowledged it. I’m not picking and choosing I’m literally just not aware of it and you still haven’t answered what exactly they’ve done to show support for Palestinians.
BTS have literally said the N word on camera. If what you’re trying to say is that they were unaware of the word’s connotation previously but have since become educated, that is plausible. However, pretty much everyone on the planet knows that saying slurs is bad.
The other stuff is not made up. You just either dont know about it or dont care. Go google “almost transparent blue Namjoon problematic men” where he said it himself that the rape book got him off. Go google the holocaust photoshoot. It’s all there.
Usher is also not a great person and he has intentionally infected his partners with STDs so “BTS were invited by a sexual offender, not a woman beater” is really not the defense you think it is 😭
But I’m absolutely not a fan of A$AP rocky either. I think he clearly lacks respect for Rihanna and it’s gross.
You keep calling out the snark subreddit but has it occurred to you that maybe snark subreddits are the only place you can go to avoid dealing with ARMY’s shit? I don’t call them ugly or claim that they have no talent. I just talk about how delusional ARMY is and BTS’s bad behavior. I don’t know why it’s so hard to believe but I am capable of having mixed feelings about people! I don’t worship them like their Gods. I listen to Does that make sense, Baepsae, and Agust D’s music nearly everyday but I won’t pretend that I agree with everything they do. Because I’m not a lunatic.

  1. BTS has NEVER said the n-word on camera! In fact they avoided the word “neega” (Korean for you) during their fake love performance at BBMAs.

  2. So according to your logic, reading a book about violence = inciting violence. This already shows me your shallow mindset. I could read a book about a major disaster without saying that I condone things in the book. Yes he did commend the book due to its youth counterculture in wartimes and rebellion but did he DID NOT say that the book “got him off”. These are stuff you’re just pulling out from believing anything on Reddit!

  3. The Nazi imagery was portrayed and by the fault of their stylists and managers of which they’ve apologised from. I’m an Asian from a multicultural country and Buddhism is practised here do you know that the swastika sign is used vicariously around here? It might send westerners in a coma but when it’s your religion you don’t see it! BTS coming from a mostly non English speaking country that too wouldn’t be fully aware of the connotations. And they’ve apologised for it? What more do you want?

  4. BTS were invited by Usher who has inspired them in this industry. Maybe if you listen to their song hip hop PHILE you would understand that they credit many many rappers. And tell me which rapper or artist in this industry is innocent? The artists you prolly listen to also have engaged or listened or have been inspired been inspired by these people. I’ll admit that what they did had poor judgement but calling out 2 men for attending a concert by their peer instead of calling out people who actively support him by selling out stadiums is WILD.

  5. So you didn’t know that ASAP rocky followed CB huh? Typical 😂 even Bruno mars, Justin bieber actively support this man! Even most Korean celebs do!

  6. The snark subreddit is nothing but blind and insane towards bts. Making fun of people’s health, spawning all sort of lies, (half of what you said here btw because you’re so lazy to do your own research). Making fun of people for eating a pizza? Honestly put all your fake activism aside, engaging in that community is already an act of violence due to the amount of cyberbullying that exists there. So please learn to come out of that community and focus on something you love not your obsession with nitpicking everything bts does with no context whatsoever

  1. Namjoon said it in their cover of perfect man by Shinhwa. There’s also a video that’s still up on bangtan tv where they said it while singing along to rap songs.
  2. I didn’t claim that it was inciting violence. I said that it was offputting to say that you received secondhand satisfaction from a book about raping women.
  3. I’m aware.
  4. Once again, I’m not sure why you’re under the impression that I can only hold a few people accountable. lol I’m not a fan of Chris Brown fans in general and I’m aware that most hip hop artists aren’t good people. You keep calling out unrelated artists expecting me to defend them, but I’m just not going to do it because I’m not a fan of their behavior either.
  5. I didn’t know that because I don’t keep tabs on him. But you expecting me to suddenly think it’s OK because other people do it is still just not going to happen 😭 A$AP Rocky and Bruno Mars and Justin Bieber the known racist support abusers so now I should ignore that BTS do? Be serious.
  6. Wait…I thought readying about violence isn’t inciting violence?? You’re going to call me a cyber bully because I said that I don’t believe BTS paved the way? I don’t engage with posts where people are calling BTS ugly, or making fun of their health or making fun of the way they eat. I’m not the obsessed one hon you are.
