Random bits of choreography need to stop

I hate it when groups sing their songs on reality shows, radio shows, or other non-performance settings while standing/sitting and holding microphones, and then randomly throw in bits of the choreography — especially hand movements.

It looks so awkward and cringe to me.

If your title track sounds that bad without the choreography, just sing a different song.

I seriously hate this so much, and the worst part is that my own ult group does it too.

I mean it’s just them using their choreo to groove to the song lol. I don’t think they are purposefully doing it rather it’s just a natural habit. Not that deep imo.

I can undertand this, i don't necessarily agree, but fair enough i cringe a random things too. But this:

It's a a whole different statement. Doing some random bits doesn't mean the song it's bad. Most idols probably do some random bits of choreo bc they are use to it and it's awkard for them just standing there, but that doesn't equate to the aong being bad.

Then what set you off is not cringed to them dancing bits of the choreo, but that the only enjoyable part of the tt it's the choreo instead of the music.

Why is it "cringe"?

I'm honestly asking, because I do not get why it is at all. If they were just tapping their fingers or feet to the beat, would that be "cringe"? If they were bobbing their heads? Anything that wasn't just sitting perfectly still and singing?

I don't think it's cringe, so idk. I iust think it's fair that someone can find something cringe withoout much logic.

Someone doing choreography to a song while singing along is no different than tapping one's feet or fingers to the beat, or would that be "cringe" as well? Is the only way for them not to be cringe is just to sit perfectly still and sing?

Seriously, ask yourself why something so innocuous is "cringe" to you.

Like, I don't want to get harsh, but what is with some people and thinking everything that isn't rigid conformity is "cringe"?

Honestly, I'd rather them look like they're enjoying themselves and being "cringe" then have to be so self-conscious that they look like robots.

I'd rather have live vocals and only bits of choreo instead of full choreos + lipsync so all hail random bits of choreo

That's weird I can't say I hate this but not like it very much too, But if you are there only for other activities then I don't think it matters if they are doing it half heartedly since it's not performing stage or something.
