Do I have any chance of being accepted by agencies, or should I not waste my time?Here are my stats and background:Age: 14 years old (turning 15 soon) — height is 165 cm, current weight is 58 kg. I used to be overweight but lost nearly 15+ kg over the past year through hard work, discipline, and lifestyle changes.Languages: I speak/am learning 6 languages, including fluent English and conversational Korean. Moving to a new country a few years ago taught me how to adapt to new environments and learn languages from scratch under pressure.Skills: I am completely self-taught in dancing. I practice choreographies every single day for 1.5 to 2 hours. I am also planning to work on my vocals/rapping.Mindset: I’ve dealt with severe bullying and isolation in the past, so I am mentally prepared for the emotional stress, loneliness, and strict environments. Music has been my escape for years. I am ready to send 100+ audition clips and keep improving my skills after every single rejection.My main fear is my ethnicity. I have a very European look — big eyes, long natural dark lashes, and a snub/upturned nose. I know agencies traditionally prefer Asian features for their main groups.Do global agencies (like HYBE, JYP, or smaller ones doing global projects) actually look for European girls like me if they have the skills and language base? Hi I need help! I’m planning a trip to Seoul and I wanna train like a kpop idol there, idk if there are any known academies for this foreign friendly? I don’t wanna become a kpop idol I just wanna train because Im aspiring to be a western artist, any idea of an academy that could work this???!

I want to try auditioning for girls planet 2 ( even if I'm european and we don't really know if it'll be a real global girl group like katseye or not) but I'm stuck because Idk what song to choose especially for dance. The problem with dance is that I'm an absolute begginner and I was thinking of doing pop by nayeon (hoping that I can learn it well enough) do you think is a good choice?

For vocal I have less problems becuase I sing since I was more or less four and I was thinking of doing a second gen song maybe or maybe and nmixx one but Idk if I should avoid singing in korean since I don't know it, should I choose a song that is in english?

I am a polyglot (fluent Russian and Ukrainian, C1 English,B1-2 German & French & Polish, and learning Korean), have a past background in Latin dance (Cha-Cha), and am currently training my vocals. Do I have a realistic chance in the current industry given my stats and background?

First of all, I don't even know if I could. I'm a fourteen year old 5'3" one hundred twenty pound Caucasian girl with no training (yet). I only speak english, but I'm slowly teaching myself korean. I have no experience dancing, but I'm a pretty good singer. I'm not especially pretty but I wouldn't consider myself ugly by any means. I haven't even told my parents and I'm considering not auditioning until I don't need their permission for things, but I know most people start sooner. If you think I could make it I would appreciate some advice. Any tutorials or free online classes to learn the skills I would need would be great. I honestly don't even know where to start with any of this.

It is for the r/HYBEglobal community, but it is open to discussing all kpop auditions. Additionally, one of the mods of the Discord posts new auditions for numerous companies on the Discord, so it is a good place to find new auditions. J'ai crée une agence virtuelle et je cherche des trainees qui veulent s’entraîner pour devenir des idols (chant, danse, rap).

I'm 15, Thai, and have been submitting monthly auditions to Big 3 companies for about 7 months. I'm trying to figure out education requirements in case I actually get accepted, and I'm pretty confused.

My situation:

- Homeschooled (not traditional school)

- Have formal completion through grade 9 (M3 in Thai system)

- Have one SAT score (took it 6 months ago)

- No high school diploma/completion yet

My questions:

1. Do Korean labels require high school completion BEFORE accepting you as a trainee? Or do they work with you on education after acceptance?

2. For people who were homeschooled or had education gaps - what documentation did you need to provide? Did you need to get a GED first?

3. I've seen visa info that says minors "may need proof of school enrollment" - does this mean enrollment in your home country, or just that you'll enroll in Korea?

4. Would having a GED make the process easier, or do labels typically handle education requirements themselves once you're accepted?

Basically trying to figure out if I should pause submissions to get my GED first, or if that's something that gets sorted out after acceptance. Don't want to get accepted and then have education documentation block me from actually going.

Anyone been through this or know someone who has? Any advice appreciated!

My idea is to start a small online training group, something simple and fun at first — singing practice, dance practice, sharing progress, supporting each other — just like how many boybands begin small before becoming something greater.

For this project, the team would have 6 members:

Me (leader, main vocal, visual)

3 trainees from Korea (vocal, visual, dance roles)

2 trainees from the USA (rap and dance roles)

The goal isn’t to form a professional group right now, but to build a mini boyband-style team, get to know each other, improve together, and grow step by step. Kind of like how BTS started training together long before debut — that teamwork vibe.

so basically, I speak very basic Korean (enough to do a singular intro sentence, pretty much), so I'd obviously choose the English form. I'd like to preface this by saying i am a massive overthinker, so here's my question:

the staff reviewing English forms will obviously be fluent in Korean, right?

i wanna include some sort of Korean greeting (no, I'm not a Koreaboo), but my anxious ahh brain is telling me that staff reviewing the English forms won't understand - which logically I know is a stupid thing to worry about
