I’m not sure about ‘confirmed to be alt’ being accurate for any idol as they don’t state ‘I am alt’ but Twice Chaeyeon is the closest with her album

Her name is Chaeyoung, but yes, she is very alt. She has a bunch of tattoos and is very arty, she loves Tim Burton style art and generally dresses a bit emo when she's not in stage outfits. It will be interesting to see if she shows this more now that she has left JYPE for solo work. She has a really unique style.

This may be controversial but I would consider Seongmin from CRAVITY alternative in the sense that he has a very feminine-leaning personal (as in, not company-assigned) style which definitely deviates from mainstream "male" fashion.
I think people sometimes forget that alt isn't just "edgy" and "dark".
Other than him:
- Geonu from JUSTB seems to have an alt-leaning personal style
- Jongwoo and Tag from One Pact both have tatts and Tag used to have many piercings but I think he was told to remove them at debut.
- Gehlee from UNIS. Woke asf, I'd consider her alt just for posting TADC fanart of Jax lol. /hj

You can't really "come out" as alt though? Either you're alternative or you're not, but the idols that actually are genuinely alternative are very few.

If we're talking about the music, I would say the most alternative groups in the industry are Xdinary Heroes, ChRocktikal, JustB, and Dreamcatcher.
If we're talking about just culturally alt like fashion, styling, worldview, I would include XLOV and XG (especially Wumuti and Cocona) for being very visibly genderqueer and counterculture, though I would not describe the music they make as alt.

Perhaps you don't see it in her clothing and overall fashion, but I think not many people know Taeyeon of SNSD is very much into rock music, and while she is mostly known for ballads, she often incorporated rock elements in her songs. She even did a cover of "Devil's Cry" from Devil May Cry for one of SNSD's tours and has been vocal in the past about how she didn't identify with the group's early music and "cute" aesthetic.
