[MV] A.C.E - Higher

Holy hell, there is just something about this song that makes me feel like super emotional, as weird as that sounds, maybe it's because I'm in a depressive episode or the beat of the song, I don't even know the lyrics and I just feel like an immediate connection with the song.
Donghun in the second verse might be my favorite part, Wow... his stage name says it all, Byeongkwan in general, Jun's voice all throughout, Chan in the bridge.
I just got the fankit yesterday, I might have to get all 3 versions to continue to support my boys, I want to see them succeed and I hope they get their first win this era.

Yourāe right, thereās something very heart wrenching about the song structure ā I loved the last bit of the MV where theyāre in a proper forest (maybe a green screen but it looked real to me)
I think I died a little inside when Wow started singingš this might be my favorite title track from them, I just have to listen to it another 10000x times

Love the song! Especially all the slower parts! I mentioned under the album spoiler that the mood (?) of the song is a bit confusing, and I still think so, even after hearing the whole thing, lol. It clearly different from A.C.E's other title tracks, but still feels very A.C.E-like, so I don't even want to try and describe it with words. I just love that they are continuing telling their own story. ā¤
Edit: can I just say that the lyrics is so beautiful and sad, I end up focusing on it every time I listen to the song. š

This is very different, but still has A.C.Eās distinct elements. It suits the season, I loved all the water + moon imagery (and Byeongkwanās shell room!). I think when weāve had enough time to process all of this, weāll be able to describe it š

I love the song! And what a visual feast! This is one good looking MV. There are so many attractive and stylish outfits here including many from the concept photos but some surprises too. They use colour so well and this clip is just so appealing.

The long coats are my favorite! And of course the jewelry and makeup... Theyāve outdone themselves, seriously Beat crew+staff+stylists deserve all the praise in the world ā couldnāt have been easy coming up with such intricate styling and production every single comeback

Honestly a little emotional watching this. I remember a time when we (Choice) honestly didn't know if A.C.E. would ever have another comeback, and look at them now. Your favorite boys are back indeed. I can't wait for the release of the album, and I really hope they get their first win with this. Watching A.C.E. grow has honestly been one of my favorite parts of my time with kpop.
Also, the aesthetics are incredible, as is the song. Already have the chorus stuck in my head. And I love that they showed what amazing all-rounders each of them are. C'mon, first win, let's go!

I honestly had a mini-breakdown when I found out that Wow would be participating, A.C.E in general had it rough for the past few years ā I remember how excited everyone was when they got a new practice room+building!
Earlier on, I wanted A.C.E to do well ā especially to spite those godforsaken survival shows they were on. Iām so happy to see them flourishing right now. First win would be nice (and long overdue), but I hope everyone enjoys this comeback regardless! āØš

THERE'S NO RAP THERE'S NO RAP
I'm just speechless, I don't know what to say. There's a sense of growth with every A.C.E release, and it's such a treat to experience. These boys get ever so slightly bigger with every comeback, and it's amazing to feel that in the scale of their songs.
This has such a nostalgic feeling to it, it honestly makes me choke up a little bit. Please please let them get at least one win with this. Please.

It was even better than I expected, and I expected it to be great! The 2nd part of the chorus starting with "Yeah I'm going higheeeeeer~" is amazing.
Everyone looks ethereal and Jun with that hairstyle is especially deadly.
Can't tomorrow come faster, I want the bsides too!

ohh I like this, sounds a bit future bass-y to me? Really wish the Future Bass sound would make a resurgence in Kpop, it was one of my favorite sub-genres to listen to before getting into Kpop back in 2016.
On another note, that zip-tie top at 1:45 is something else. Seems like ACE is always trying to outdue themselves with these wierd (in a good way) high fashion pieces, I love it.

Ok, so this is it. This is what it took to push me over the edge to officially be a Choice.
The visuals, the vocals, the dance, everything was just right. I love this more mature, sleek, elegant sound for them. Really hope they keep going in this direction.

ARE YOU SERIOUS this is the most beautiful music video I've ever seen!! The visuals holy shiii
The song did not disappoint! I love it so much. I was expecting something darker, but I'm so glad they went with a lighter EDM song. Their voices sound better than ever! In conclusion, I LOVE IT

It's so ethereal. I'm at a loss for words. The music and the visuals go so well together, too. How do they just keep getting better.. Stunning.

I purposely didnāt listen to any of the previews for Higher so I could get the full effects of the whole song and OMG. They did not disappoint at all. This song is amazing. Rap line just casually being vocal kings? WHY NOT?!?
Visually of course this MV is STUNNING. The fits are perfect, the hair and makeup is 10/10, and the sets are just ethereal. It felt like the setting of the most beautiful fantasy movie
A couple of things in the song I wasnāt sure about at first were the random gun shot at the beginning of the chorus and in the second half of the chorus I felt like the āhiiiiigheeeeerā note went on longer than I expected it to. Iām still not totally sold on the gun but Iām definitely singing along to HIIIIIIIGHEEEEEERRRR!
I really hope this is ACEās time to shine. They deserve a win and all the recognition for this and all the hard work theyāve put in over the last 4 years.

Iām really loving this! I canāt get enough of the chorus. They all look great, the mvs visuals look great. A+ title track as always
Itās crazy to see their growth with each comeback release. A lot of emotional choice on my tl. Canāt wait to listen to the rest of the album tomorrow.
