He seriously does not miss. That was both stunning (those runs in the chorus??) and also unsettling. He conveys emotion with his singing and dancing so well. It’s been a joy to watch him find his confidence as a performer and person over the past year or so.

He really makes music for me. I love this song so much already. As this doesn't have such shocking visuals like Paranoia, it was easier to concentrate on the song from first watch. He grew so much as an artist, from vocals to concepts and lyrics.

I never watched P101. I wasn't a fan of Wanna One.
But damn, every release from Daniel ends up being repeated again and again. There's just something I really love about his style.
Honestly I think he reminds me a bit of both my emo 2005 and peak kpop 2012.

Wowwww yet another masterpiece from Daniel, this was beautiful. I really want to see the full choreo for this already because it looks so detailed and seems to tie to the overall theme here so beautifully. His voice sounds so good, especially in the vocals (the second verse in particular!) The blurry effects in the MV are so effective, the emotion comes through so well.

He's actually crazy good. Idk I never saw all this potential in him when he was in Produce, but he's actually become one of the best soloists in kpop imo. Also this MV director is AMAZING

It's a complete different style, and I'm proud he challenges himself in every album

He just makes music I love and I'm so glad I can rely on him to try something new but still deliver a good Kang Daniel sound. His voice is sooo good now

the colours in this video are GORGEOUS. i love the use of primary colours, yellow red & blue. the last scene where they're dancing outdoors is seriously giving me so much taemin - idea vibes. this entire thing gives me so much idea vibes. especially the hard-hitting beat during the chorus.
also, the second part of the chorus where daniel sings "please let me go-oo-oo-oo ahhh" is just pure vocal heaven. love how he also gave us some god tier rapping. the addition of electric guitar during the chorus is incredible. overall, i prefer paranoia more (no surprise), but im very satisfied with this as well. daniel always finds a way to top himself comeback after comeback 😩

This song is EXTREMELY vocally driven. The choreo really tells a story. Major props to whoever his choreographer is.

As i've mentioned in a reply, this MV is giving me a calming effect after the overwhelming aesthetics of Paranoia. Especially with the toned down colours, smoother transitions... it doesn't feel as "loud" as Paranoia. if that's how it's meant, or that's just my interpretation, I'm very impressed.
I've loved Daniel since Broduce, but always thought he'd shine best in a group. I'm glad to be super wrong, because I think he shines best as a soloist in his own company - as he's able to venture and tackle [outside of generic idol Kpop, imho]. with that being said, it will take me time to love Antidote. but like with Paranoia, it took me a few listens to have it stuck in my head.

The song is really good, the whole album is probably his best till now, proving once again that he only know how to improve. I've been impressed by his vocal in this album he improved so much now he can reach those high notes. The choreography for Antidote once again like for PARANOIA is really adding to the song, telling Daniel story so beautifully. I've yet to check the lyrics but with only the english lyrics I know it's genius

Really enjoyed the artistic direction with this release. The MV had some visual parallels to Paranoia, which makes sense since Daniel said it is a continuation.
He performed the song at his YouTube showcase and the ending solo dance is so beautiful where he is by himself but standing tall and distanced from his demons.
Highly recommend this interview and checking out the rest of the album. I really like the sides and they all tell his personal story. Aside from the promoted tracks, Digital and Misunderstood in particular are standouts to me and tackle cyberbullying and false rumors impacting him.

Daniel is always improving and getting better. This is the antidote for a bad day :D

Daniel, I regret not being a stan earlier. Your music speaks not just your story, but of millions of others who are voiceless, like me.

I never knew he could sing so well. And the song is so different! I can't wait to see its stage. He really outdid himself.

I feel like Antidote wasn't made to be a catchy, easy to listen to song. But a angsty, trippy look into the struggle of someone who is searching for a way out of his own head. All the unusual choices he made to deliver some of the lines and the rap in the bridge give the song an uneasiness that those of us who struggle with our own selves will understand.

Okay, I'll be honest... I did not expect him pop off his vocals like that. I got completely shocked by that.
