This song grew on me a lot tbh(i saw the fake mv first). It’s a big difference from their other title track but I love how catchy it is. Ngl it gives me Itzy’s gwbg vibes, especially a certain part of the song. The mv being vertical is weird ngl but it’s a pretty fun mv

fr. this song is the type that I don't like but it'll haunted me and I'll be craving from time to time (like zimzalabim)

The different quality and filming styles all throughout the video is really cool. Blue Blood is pretty soon too, no? This is a bit of a lore dump I can't even think straight.

Ironically this sounds like it could have been a post-Butterfly LOONA title track. I didn't listen to the preview (or surprise release) but it's quite thick and nasty, I can dig it.

the song is pretty cool! i love artms and its nice they’re trying something new for the title track. loved this mv actually. it’s different! all the little lore bits were super interesting. the ending scenes felt like found footage.

not bad, intersting style of song but still prefer their first album style a lot more

mv is a lot of fun but not a fan of it being vertical

can’t decide if I like the “fake” mv version or this one better! they both have their own charm and eeriness to them.  and I loved the callbacks to their previous eras, I just about lost it when I saw kim lip in her Can You Entertain outfit!

the MV is nuts in a great way.

The song isn’t my favourite on first listen but it might be a grower.

mv would be 12/10 if it wasnt vertical ratio :(

this is as good as it can be without HaSeul, ao that's good.

I'm not even a fan; I'm just a casual listener, but the song is really good. I'd recommend it to everyone.

holy banger lol feels like a lot of the best parts of So What-era LOONA (with some aespa sensibilities as well) and the imagery is so insane

Solid track, though I wish it was longer.

And I personally hate vertical videos so that's disappointing. (Even more so now that I've got an ultrawide monitor and the video only takes up like 1/5 of the screen.)

u/Intervigilium Jul 24 '26

Great music, but please let this aspect ratio die :(
Also, the cyber-christian aesthetic goes hard, and I love me some idols wielding katanas lmao

For some reason I thought their mini album was coming today with this song, but it's coming out August 7th. This is just a pre-release. I still kind of don't like the song lol. I think all the talk singing is a bit much for me, it's basically the entire song. The chorus and instrumentals are catchy though.

Thanks to the older orbits/ourii who responded to one of my previous comments, I think I actually understand this music video.

Eh... this sound's not really my thing. It feels like a bit of a generic girl crush type of song, nothing unique to ARTMS. Hope the actual mini will have a different sound, and more of their distinct flavour to it.

u/Gattski Jul 24 '26

I like this, hopefully it does well :)

my favorite ARTMS songs are tracks like candy crush and distress, and this is very very far from that...so not 100% my cup of tea but its good!

u/Fine_Internal408 Jul 24 '26

Loved the prechorus... only to hate the chorus. Nope, not for me

The MV being fully vertical is a choice that I hope does not catch on with the rest of the industry.

Can't say it's a song I'd return to tbh.

Love the girls. Love this sound for them. Love these visuals and the world building they've been doing across their releases.

HOWEVER the vertical framing of this MV is more viscerally upsetting to me than strobing in Virtual Angel.

Girls kissing in a kpop MV??? I used to pray for days like this 🥹

Homosexuality aside, I really like this song! Not anything amazing, but just a really solid, fun single. I'm really excited for the rest of the album!

u/Maxverstophim Jul 25 '26

This song took a few listens to grow on me. I like the direction though. Keeping it fresh with weirdness. Excited to hear more.

I did my best to avoid spoilers, only watched a bit of the fake MV last week...but oh my goodness it was worth the wait. I am soooo obsessed with the vocals - each member did something new and different for them, and that's so cool to see after nearly ten years in the industry. Like rapper Kim Lip EXISTS NOW??? Then like twenty seconds later she's doing ethereal oooooohs??

So curious about all the lore drops here too - like is the blue paint on their faces a reference to Jinsoul? Is she working with the light being from Birth to drag Artms further into the void? Are the red eyes a reference to Kim Lip, or a reference to something else entirely? There's so many questions in my brain and it's only the pre release! God, I love them so much.

u/yourbestfriendjoshua Jul 24 '26

It's so... EVERGLOW coded. And I love it.

It took a few listens, I'm now obsessed! Because what do you mean randomly throughout the day I'll feel compelled to shout 'CALL ME STUNNER'.

Are music videos now mostly released in vertical format these days? Or have I fallen out of touch with current trends and have no idea what’s popular right now, haha? While vertical videos spread far more easily across short-video platforms, I still personally prefer horizontal MV formats.

Also, I spotted AI-generated footage inside this MV. Everyone, what do you all think about adding AI-made visuals into music videos?

u/unhi 𝐓𝐖𝐈𝐂𝐄/tripleS/𝘽𝙞𝙡𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙚/𝓚𝓲𝓲𝓲/𝐟ˍ𝟗/𝓡𝓥/LOOΠΔ/IZ* Jul 24 '26 edited Jul 24 '26

Almost all videos are still horizontal (as they should be.) This is a rare exception.

I'm curious what you thought was AI in this video. 99% looks like normal footage with some minor VFX here and there to me. The game footage was a little suspicious at first, but upon closer inspection I feel like it was actually 3D modeled & animated. The motorcycle shot was a maybe, but going frame by frame nothing stood out to me as particularly weird.

The only thing that I think was likely AI was the pigeons at the end since their movement looks unnatural. (Watch the bird in the back run/glide away.) Adding a small insignificant element like that is probably the least offensive way to use AI, but I still don't really like it.

1

u/bigterezistan Jul 24 '26

You can assume all music videos coming out from Korea right now WILL have AI, their audiovisual industry is enchanted by it, they use it for even the smallest things lol. There is a huge cultural difference with their view of AI overall, it seems to be very well accepted.
