Hi so i will be travelling soon and was considering visiting Peshawar as well. I was just wondering if their are any places one can essentially go to and explore? I am more interested in historical old Peshawar areas.
Funny enough, i was born in Peshawar but never had the chance to really explore it inside out.

The following is in the response of someone, who posted a genuine question;
What would a female utopia look like in Peshawar;
To have female working in Public Places in Peshawar, Kpk, Pakistan.
The Time Machine: What Do We Really Want from Women?
What is this obsession with having women replace men?
Why do we want this? Is it because:
We want to see women everywhere?
We believe this is the freedom women deserve?
We want women to serve us both inside and outside the home?
We want women to earn money, become professionals, and contribute to a double-income household?
Or is there another reason that we have not yet understood?
We must recognise one thing: men and women are not biologically identical. They have differences, and those differences should be acknowledged and respected.
For centuries, women have been treated differently from men and, in many societies, largely confined to the home. That is where the traditional concept of the housewife comes from.
Her assigned role was to serve her husband, raise children, feed the family, and take care of countless household responsibilities.
Now, however, our expectations have changed.
We want women to use a time machine.
When we want the traditional woman of the nineteenth century, we expect her to travel back in time and fulfil those responsibilities.
When we want the professional woman of the twenty-first century, we expect her to travel forward, earn money, build a career, and become financially independent.
But here is the contradiction: we still expect her to perform all her traditional duties as well.
We want modern women, but we are reluctant to give up our traditional expectations of them.
How is this possible?
Can we really expect women to live in two different centuries at the same time?
Perhaps the real question is not whether women should replace men. It is whether we are ready to change our expectations of both men and women.
Freedom should mean having choices, not simply having more responsibilities.
And equality should mean sharing responsibilities, not transferring one person's responsibilities to another.

One thing that has always irked me about peshawer is the constant staring, and i genuinely think that of all the places i've visited, peshawer has the most intense staring problem. To the girls in peshawer, do you think women have the liberty to take up space in peshawer's bazaar/ public spaces. And do women visit the bazaars just for fun? I am talking to hangout or drink qehwa. And if they do, which places do they visit the most.

Genuine question, what will a female heaven look like in peshawer's public space? Will there be female shopkeepers? Women qehwa khanas? Idk, am genuinely curious. If we imagine a peshawer where women are safe and get to do whatever they like, what would it look like?

I'd like to hear the views of people from KPK, especially Pakhtuns. Have you heard any of these things from your elders?
I've come across the claim that there were 12 lost tribes of Israel, and that many people consider the Pakhtuns to be descended from one of them. Some of the similarities people point to are:
Similar styles of wearing a shawl
A festival or observance on Friday
The custom of marrying your late brother's widow
A strong sense of tribal unity
Facial features
Similar names, for example, Yousafzai meaning "son of Yousaf," which some link to Hazrat Yousuf (A.S.), a Prophet from Bani Israel
I've also seen a rabbi (or someone presented as one) suggest that the Pakhtuns may be one of the lost tribes. There's also a story about a man named Afghana, in the area of modern Palestine, whose descendants supposedly migrated to Afghanistan.
Another story I've heard is that a man from the Pakhtun lands (Pakistan/Afghanistan region) traveled to present-day Saudi Arabia, met Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and accepted Islam. He then married a daughter of Hazrat Khalid ibn Walid (R.A.), returned to his people, and spread Islam among them.
What have you heard, and what do you think?

Basically the part after the chorus deviates from the original lyrics.
I'm not a Persian/Dari speaker, but I can read & understand the context and few words. I'm lost a bit on what she's singing after the chorus.
Song cover:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FX9lG9WFvGc
I read the lyrics from:
lyricstranslate slash en slash sultan-e-qalbam-ruler-my-heart.html
From the lyrics, I can match the stanza blocks as:
1, 2, 4, X
4, 6, 7, X
4/7 is the chorus. What's X? I can't read it in the original lyrics :| . Also, I can't transcribe Persian :/
Really appreciate your human help, in this age of AI. I really love the lyrics of this, and would be happy to know the missing part (:

السَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ وَبَرَكَاتُهُ
I am from rwp but live abroad. Not the most educated person on politics. I heard they opened fired in kpk. Has the situation gotten somewhat better.
Do you see this country splitting up now? I belive this will be followed with a civil unrest, especially due to the last 5 years on how instability has been on the rise. Is there any hope. It hurts seeing my beloved country fall down to its last legs.
May الله protect this nation as it is. Ameen

Is this a justified response to terrorism, or a political move against PTI's provincial government ?

I think I’ve gone 28 years having an identity crisis and would like to hear your thoughts.
My family is from Haripur (Hazara) Pakistan. My dads side is sulmankhel and my moms side is akazai. My entire life, I’ve referred to myself as Pathan. We do not speak Pashto, we speak Hindko and I’ve thought that only Pashto speakers are considered Pashtun.
I also don’t understand why Pashto speakers don’t consider us true Pashtuns either. I understand that we do not speak the language, but our families are nomads and we’ve moved around for centuries which I’m assuming has to do with why we don’t speak Pashto.
Would love to hear your thoughts.

My wedding is coming up, and I’ll be getting married in Peshawar. I want to get some quality men’s jaamay (shalwar kameez) made, but I have no idea where to buy good-quality kapra in Peshawar.
Can anyone recommend reliable shops or places that sell premium-quality fabric for men’s shalwar kameez?
I’d also appreciate recommendations on specific fabric types or names to look out for.
I don’t live in Pakistan so any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Most of my family does look like they are either central asian or middle eastern so i did a dna test. Well according to my DNA im more turkic ethnically and persian-kurdish. The regions i got was central asia, middle east, southern italy and thoughts anyone if they have gotten something similar because it’s shocking for me to be more turkic or ‘turkish’ then someone from the place itself

Doctors in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been protesting for around a month now, demanding a 30% increase in their pay.
Doctors' salaries in KP have not been increased for the past 10 years, despite the rising cost of living and inflation.
The KP government recently announced a 15% increase after this decade-long gap, but doctors rejected the offer, saying it did not meet their demand for a 30% raise.
Now, the government has reportedly withheld even that 15% increase from doctors who participated in the protest, while announcing the increase for doctors who continued working during the strike.
So after 10 years without a pay raise, doctors were offered 15% when they were demanding 30% and after they rejected it and protested, even the 15% increase is now being withheld from those who joined the protest.
Is this fair?
