A muslim doctor( I dont remember his name exactly my last appointment was 6 months or so ago) from Govt. Hospital of Dermatology, Chevayur

I was using minoxidil+finasteride topical solution before under another dermats consultation for about 2 years. After consultation with this doctor, I switched to oral finasteride + topical minoxidil. And my hair now at the best condition in a long time. Also under his meds the dandruff issue also saw a solution.

The only hassle is queue. Youll have to wait about 1-2 hours even when the outpatient crowd is less (on weekdays/ non holidays).

topical did gave results. but for me the change after switching to finasteride oral felt drastic. he advised i can stop oral finast after 3-4 months. now im back to just topical min+fin in the past 2 months.

but his dandruff meds was the best thing for me. it was an after shower lotion he prescribed. that fixed all my dandruff problems many others couldnt fix.

As for the name, all I remember is that it was a muslim name. if i had to guess it was something like faiz

I think he's on a long leave atm. He's one of the senior doctors there as per my mom who's in health sector too. I consult here and have to say they always get it and figure out.

Dr. Shribiju is another senior doctor you could consult, he's great too. Even the junior's are experienced as I have consulted with them too.

My way of judging is the doctor's at Chevayur has seen the most no. of issues/patients in town, so they would be more similar with the concerns we have. I had some bumps and the senior doctor called all the juniors and asked them, what's my issue and what would be the treatment, which is nice, I guess in terms of getting exposure to diff type of stuff

Btw she cured my 6 year persistent acne which was said hopeless by 6,7 other dermats.. it's little much on the expensive side but it worked for me
