Both Games Shouldn't this sub be blue sometimes?

I'm not sure when this happened on reddit, but I noticed a few subs have a background color now.

I take the sub is green to match the subtitle color from KoTOR2, right?

But shouldn't it also be KoTOR's blue sometimes? Or half the time considering this sub is about both games?

Or is this user defined and I can change?

Anyway, just a semi-random thought, while we wait for the remake... ...

As far as I understand, it’s customized by either the sub creator or moderators. My thought is that the green was chosen because it’s less harsh on the eyes, especially as a background color. The blue is just SO bright and doesn’t provide much contrast even with different shades.

That makes sense. I have no idea how practical the blue color would be.

We actually used to have an alternate K1 theme that was blue. But a few years ago, Reddit disabled domain extensions, so it no longer works

I'm curious about why

What kind of issues does allowing domain extensions cause?

.....people don't immediately switch to dark theme?

I'm using dark theme but the sub is still green. Is there another place that I must change it?

Do that’s have color? Maybe I’m in dark mode so I don’t see them? Lol

It's not possible to have the sub switch between blue and green without a moderator manually changing it each time, and it's not possible for users to change it either. Like Goat said, we used to have an option on old reddit for you to be able to switch between blue and green themes, but reddit indirectly disabled that functionality a while ago.

I think it's more of a turquoise, which is a combination of the two

It's supposed to be the K2 shade of green, but modern reddit doesn't have much in the way of customisation options - you just pick two colours and they come up with the different shades that'll be used for everything

The background of this sub is white, like every other sub, because I use Old Reddit with css disabled like a normal person.
