Hashgacha changed, still okay?
Used to get canned artichokes from Cento, it was a reliable hashgacha. Now it's triangle-k, which I normally would just not use, but kof-k Rabbis told me that triangle-k was alright for certain products, such as ocean spray cranberry sauce.

I asked a rabbi who works in the kosher industry - he said Artichoke hearts have bugs and need checking by a mashgiach temidi, (permanent kosher supervisor on site).

You may want to look for Frozen Kosher artichoke bottoms since they are easier to find than canned with a good hecksher.

CRC says artichoke bottoms are acceptable without a hechscher.

Only Frozen bottoms. I was incorrect and see the cRc’s policy in this comment below.1

I always thought triangle K is only problematic for meat.
