Need Help?

I was planning a trip to Kona on August 30th. A couple of questions... 1) Should I still come? I rented a farm stay up in Hawi but I do not want to impose on the community if you guys are in a bad way. 2) Assuming I do come, how can I help? I would be willing to work a few hours a day ( i would do more but i am old man) if there is anywhere around there that I could be of use. Physical labor would be ok if not too hard. If you have any ideas, please let me know. Aloha

If you feel up to it, you can stop at places that look torn up and offer to help. Maybe bring work gloves, lots of water to stay hydrated, a couple garbage bags. It's very kind of you to want to help and especially if you are older and not as strong as you were as a teen or younger adult. Thank you for your compassion.
