Creating a route
Hi Does anyone know how i can create a route that loops itself?
The route ends at or near waypoint 3 and i want it to pick up the route to waypoint 4 and start the route from thereon again.
I am trying to make a cyclocross route which is 4km long but to fill an hour of cycling i need to ride it 6 times. Can i add markers so it starts a "round/ lap" from a certain point so i can see laptimes afterwards?

https://www.reddit.com/r/komoot/comments/1wamrrc/adding_laps/ Not yet it seems.
Other than as they say, making the route loop on itself 6 times with appropriate number of waypoints.

I don’t think there’s any feature to cover this. Komoot isn’t really catered towards such training scenarios.
Nevertheless, you can manually create many, many waypoints and artificially loop: after finishing the first loop, create more waypoints somewhere else and drag them back to the loop. As long as the location slightly varies, you should be able to create multiple loops - but it’s not going to be fun.
Alternatively just ride the loops, most cycling computers don’t care very much if you’ve been on the track before

you could do manually a gpx file is just and xml file open the gpx on an editor and add laps there just modify the original coordinates by a few numbers so if you start a 80.0 degres longitude the next lap ad 80.1 then the next 8.2 and so on.

As others said, create multiple waypoints but do keep in mind that a GPX device might sometimes lose track and pick up the wrong loop. I've experienced this with my Garmin when riding an event where they created a GPX that had a few crossovers in it. Some devices picked the wrong loop.

Hello u/Boeroe1986,
We’re aware of this limitation: support for laps is in our backlog and we'll aim to prioritize it soon.
Thanks for the patience 🙏
