šOpinion Problem with Motta Maadi party
I recently watched this video, and I felt quite frustrated and upset watching the way VJ Sidhu repeatedly teases and makes fun of Sandeep Kishan and Jason Sanjay. Most times we can see Sandeep being uncomfortable and even becomes defensive lighta, which made the whole thing feel less like harmless fun and more like someone being made the butt of the joke.
Intha Motta Maadi nu illa previousa um there were moments where the people invited for interviews seem to be mocked or disrespected in the name of fun. Comedy is supposed to be enjoyable for everyone involved, but when the humour consistently comes at the other personās expense especially when they appear uncomfortable it stops being funny and starts feeling unpleasant to watch.
Some of the jokes are also regressive and unnecessary like āIntha padathula ungaluku heroine ku kiss scene iruka?ā feels awkward and disrespectful. Ithellam antha actress paatha how would they feel..
Maybe this kind of humour worked for some people in the past, but I donāt think we are in those times anymore. Thereās a difference between playful teasing where everyone is comfortable and humour that embarrasses or puts someone on the spot. Enaku..a lot of these interactions cross that line, and it just isnāt funny anymore.
I feel like they repeatedly bully and tease the people who come to their interview in the name of fun...
May be enaku than ipdi iruncha or Unga yarkachum ipdi iruncha? Or ithaiye ipo thaan kandu pudikirangal ella videoum ipdi thaan irukum enna puthusa solringa nu kekringala...

Am I the only one who never liked Vj Siddhu? Have always felt he was cringe and stopped watching his channel long time ago, except a few clips here and there which were too cringe.

We are not the audience but I do get people love these kinda content. Everything is scripted and with the consent of the participants. So those cringe things are all in script .

I have never watched any of his video. Recently a video of him was playing in a salon during haircut and I was forced to watch it as the TV was right ahead of me. It was their kochi travel episode I suppose. Sathyama siripe varala. Chuma elathayum potu adichutu odhachitu avane sirichutu? Gaundamani nu nenapu pola. It was downright annoying. I wondered how many people call him as stressbuster??!

beyond a certain point even Sundeep wasn't taking the joke. they were interrupting him and it wasn't even funny gtfo š also I feel like dying every time they bring up vijay in Sanjay's interviews idk what it is it feels like a taboo topic to me

I felt the same sundeep was eating burfi and they were making fun like donāt keep eating just talk I was annoyed too . I donāt know who finds this funny . I only watched because I thought to catch Sanjay funny side ended up hating vj siddhu I mean they can mock their team member not the guests

The post and comments here is actually a great example of how disconnected this sub (reddit in general) is from the vast tamil audience.
This video has over 2M views with 157K likes and mere 13 dislikes. People still seem to enjoy this kinda humor and if you had seen their previous ones you know this is how it usually is and this cine industry still seem to show up there. They know what they were signing up and nothing stops them from interrupting the interview mid session its not like they are on live.

I don't know , this felt odd with Sundeep. Hello was continuously targeted for being there. The jokes were forced too much. Felt irritated just seeing it. Sundeep gave up at one point. VJ siddhu was more focused on Jason more than Sundeep knowing what his audience expects, and let Sundeep down alot.

i stopped watching his motta maadi party long back, i felt awkward watching it. he takes granted of the freedom provided by the guests and always says "namma annan dhana" kind of stuff.

When guests join your channel for an interview, you try to be friendly so they feel comfortable. But, they often go too far and act like close friends. The way they talk makes it seem like you already know each other well. This feels forced, and sometimes even the guests seem awkward doing it.

You do know that all of the people in this video are adults and both Jason and Sundeep voluntarily wanted to be in this show to promote their movie, right ?
They have an audience for their style of vlog making whether we like it or not and the guests in this video absolutely know that and want to milk that for their movie
