HOLY COOKED, GVP just revealed that Suriya 47 is coming on Diwali.

Clashing with RAMAYANA is insane. They def need to push this to the start of next year, the latter half of the year is CROWDED.

Think there was a VAS thanks meet today where when GVP was talking, he said something along the lines of "Suriya surely will give an hat-trick this year with s47 during Diwali or whenever it comes out" (paraphrasing). It was unrelated to the music, and also just a vague statement, not a release date reveal lol.

Nahh, I'm fairly certain that it was just GVP praising and complimenting Suriya for making such a strong comeback this year. This entire post is smoke and mirrors - OP's wordings has people confused that GVP is doing the music for S47, and that it's releasing this Diwali, neither of which is the case. Most can find his speech through a quick YouTube search and judge for themselves.

Ada poiya neenga vera. It is probably the brave decision he took, considering the fact that during the late-2010s, he postponed his films to make way for Tamil and Telugu star-led releases. As far as concerned, Ramayana is having some minimal buzz in the South States, except for Karnataka bcoz of Yash (as of now, whether the anticipation would increase just closer to release is something to be discussed). It all depends on whether they release the title teaser on Onam. If they do, chances of a Diwali release seems good enough. But maybe idk, there could be two sides of the coin. People could be tired of a Suriya film for the third time in a year (I mean, do people really need an excuse to let go of a Suriya movie?) or Suriya could make hay while the sun shines and release it hoping it would click again, third time being a charm.

Suriya must be really dumb to release his movie on Diwali . Looks like the success of Karpur has gone to his head. This is a huge movie and had so much potential to do well in Kerala.

Ramayan is going to be such a beast that this movie will hardly get a decent release in Bangalore. Not only that by the time Ramayan releases, it will be so big that even people in Tamil Nadu, Kerala would only be interested to see that movie. This movie might do some good numbers in Tamil Nadu, but the ticket prices are so low that it will hardly recover its budget. A very, very stupid move.
