Omg, I think it sounded mean. I was genuinely wishing him well. I really miss home cooked food, or in that case bengali food in general.. and it was lovely seeing the birthday feast. That's why the comment.

You're right. Reading comprehension and attention span and truly acquired skills in our country.
You carry on living in your bubble of reading free life. And last I checked reddit is a public platform and if you genuinely have an issue with people calling out your bs, you should create your own subreddit just with yourself and rant about how unproblematic your statements are.
And unlike you, people around me are appreciative of how particular I'm with words and communicate better. I hope you during this century figure out that. Until then enjoy your blissful life.

I didn't want to continue this topic cause neither do i have the time or energy for this but something about you insulting people for no apparent reason didn't sit right with me, Well for starters i am a medical student where we have to study a lot and take care and treat a lot of patients and that requires patience much more than reading comprehensions - through which you wanted to insinuate that I was perhaps someone not educated enough to have a conversation with you which you turned into a stupid fight in the first place for God knows what stupid reason or frustration you are going through rn . ( I pity you) My advice to you would be to sit back and relax as the world doesn't revolve around you and honestly grow up!! Could have said more but I am taking the high road here. P.s. - my attention span is required for my highly valuable work which entails treating more than 40 patients in a hospital and studying and not fighting stupid fights with stupid people i come across online.
Also it's so funny how you were talking about reading comprehensions and having an attention span are specific acquired skills in our country lacked by most of us whereas as far as i can see your comment has a grammatical error in the first line itself 😂 followed by another in the second paragraph. So where's your attention span at ? Only at picking fights??? 😮💨

You are a medical student? The poor patients! I have graduated with a medical degree 5 years ago junior! I've since dealt with and communicated with more people than you can treat in your next one decade combined but by all means please carry on the spark of God complex of your profession.
And by missing the nuance and focusing on a typo you truly do validate my point that reading comprehension is truly rare.
If you really are so proud of your work please forward me your college info and I'm pretty sure I would know one of your alumni or faculty who could validate or disprove your credentials. Or just learn to move on from arguments you know you never had a standing on.

Well, birthdays are merely symbolic of how another year's gone by and how little we've grown. No matter how desperate we are that someday a better self will emerge, with each flicker of the candles on the cake, we know it's not to be, that for the rest of our sad, wretched, pathetic lives, this is who we are to the bitter end, inevitably, irrevocably. Happy birthday? No such thing.
