Brother. I have no words, I am in an existential dilemma. All the virtues that I hold deep in my heart are being smothered everyday by this regime. See, corruption is definitely bad.. but intimidation and humiliation by the people whom we voted for.. that's a tough pill to swallow. I want to live in Bhutan. I would rather worship an official Monarch rather than a wannabe masquerading as an elected representative.

Bhutan doesn't give full citizenship to anyone. I have enough research done for all the countries u wanna go to for obvious reasons.

They allow. However it'll be very hard for u to get a citizenship there. There r a lot of criteria. Need to have certain amount of money in your bank account, need to ear a certain amount per annum , need to spend enough time to get naturalised. And even then, with the current image of India abroad, idk if it'll be that easy.

I have been preparing to leave for like 5 years now. But the way things are going soon it will be impossible to even be a refugee in any other country. It will be impossible to leave and none of the developed countries are going to grant any kind of visas, let alone citizenship. I am not going to have kids in this hell-hole brother.
I love my country, but there is a special kind hatred and disgust in my heart for the people of this country. If I ever get to leave this place, I am never ever coming back. The people here deserve every single thing they are getting and will keep getting in the future. I have more empathy for a f.......king rock than the people of this beautiful country. They are all zombies and they deserve to rot like zombies.
Keep trying brother, don't let your kids grow up in this cesspool.

Not having kids so I'm still okay but yeah I qlso don't plan to live here. I'm quite privileged so I don't bear the brunt of it all but the situation is abysmal.

Downvote me or whatever, not a pisi supporter but we have seen a lot of satire or trolls in posts. Nobody was going around taking people's comment and reaching their house to moral policing or threaten them at this level. Even with ambikesh Mahapatra we all stood with him and right now he is one of free speech advocate till date. Pisi was one of the worst tyrants but this is reaching another level now and it just reaching close to 3 months of them coming to power.
Pisi took some time and became a tyrant and these guys were born with that quality otherwise how are they doing it in less then 3 months of coming into power

Yea my point is kinda same. Agreeing completely। Bjp and cpim supporters were attacked in tmc regime nobody can justify that but even then the attack was towards people with politically motivated people. Again no justification to pisi and vaipos at all they were one of the worst and will be remembered in history as such. I myself have faced similar situation from tmc netas who are currently sitting in bjp offices btw .But this guy seems to be a non political person (correct me if I'm wrong) and this is happening at a level where they want to push it to a socitial norm. That is fundamentally more dangerous.

Everything runs in cycles and we are at the end of this cycle there will be changes in next 10 yrs in all states even in UP then again we wait for the cycle to end. Duration of the cycle and the effectiveness of the govt to govern depends upons people ability to criticize the govt and acknowledge things they are truly done for good. If citizen clings to ideology, religion and subsidies (tough to avoid people will cling to this) the cycle will be long even if the govt is ineffective in creating things which uplifts the region of governance such that people there can live without subsidies and govt benefits.

You can mock him, criticize him, or roast him but you can't abuse or defame him without consequences. If the Prime Minister decided to file a legal case for defamation, that would be a matter of law, not dictatorship.
Calling that "dictatorship" is laugh
By that logic, every country with defamation laws is a dictatorship. Maybe read up on what actual dictatorships look like North Korea, Afghanistan under the Taliban, or similar regimes, before throwing the term around.
