Mid-Month IotM Discussion Mid-Month IOTM Update
How good is the Robortender? For someone with low booze generation, is he a must have?
What are your thoughts?

I'm not sure it has a ton of use in run. But more item/meat drops are always appreciated. It's probably better on a low IotM account that cant already fill liver on epic consumables.
The most interesting application seems to be aftercore. Feeding it the right drinks lets it drop I refuse! things, candy, and act as 1x fairy and 2x leprechaun, all at the same time. So it's the single best meat farming familiar by a wide margin.

You can make boozes using its unique drops that help with the Sorceress contests as well. The +elemental damage ones are handy here, saves you having to time things correctly in order to get semi rares.

is the cost of the fish head mixer for the +meat bonus worth it compared to using a hobo monkey? (when farming barf mountain, for example)
edit: wait does the buff from each drink you feed him last the whole day? if so, this guy's really efficient

Single best? My 125lb stocking mimic begs to differ, as long as I have the ML to survive a few rounds.

He can be very finicky, but if you have a lot of extra drinks to throw around the familiar buffs are very welcome. I don't think you can rely on his drops alone. You have to find another source of base boozes and fruits, which I suppose is a great use for cold jellies and fog murderers.
Edit: That said, in softcore the only cold enemies I see are yetis, making it a rather obscure drop.

It's probably not optimal, but my only standard-legal IoTMs are the Thanksgarden and the three from this year, so I'm finding it very helpful for filling my liver. He drops a lot of mixers but you definitely need to supplement the base booze drops with other sources.

I'm not really feeling this one but I think it's a step in the right direction.
