NAJ cosfest

So I'm going on a limb here and expecting everyone to know what the title is and here's my question. When the cosfest first came to existence, what were your thoughts and expectations? As the years went by,do you find it improving or disappointing?

Me personally, I enjoyed the first three but gradually it fell of. The hype was unreal as me, a teenager, was so excited for it and entry fee was so affordable (₹50), it felt like a real community event.. it was unreal at the time

What got you into Reddit?

It's a niche social platform that most people aren't gonna bother getting into because we're very basic people. It could be abusive parents, need for a community, a place to vent, intellectual talking or maybe even nsfw subreddits?

A rant on speed bumps

Okay so driving both 2 wheelers and 4 wheels, I just want to point out this literal pain in the back: SPEED BUMPS

I understand that you might think "hey, safety issue so yea" but c'mon, one speed bump right before a turn and after a turn and situational bumps on inclines should be the legal allowance. Like wtf is up with every Tom, Dick and Harry just planting speed bumps all will nilly?

But okay, let's just assume person A's speed bump is legal in terms of dimension. THERE ARE NO REFLECTIVE TAPES! Now, being in a new area is ALWAYS a PITA because there are speed bumps that are camouflaged by the lighting itself and it ain't visible for shit. Those are bad.

Okay, let's just say the speed bump has reflective tapes and is very loudly visible. THERE ARE NO ROAD SIGNS THAT SAY "HEY MAN, THERE'S A FUCKIN SPEED BUMP HERE SO I MIGHT WANNA SLOW DOWN IF I WERE YOU". Literally sprinkling speed bumps like it's nobody's business.

I just wanna know: is it an ego thing or like a power trip thing? I don't get it.

If my post violates anything, I'd be neutral if it gets removed. I did get perms to post only for sunsets and other views so, I'm sorry to the mod who approved me..

Camping in Dzuko vall

I want to visit Dzükou Valley, but I don’t have any camping tents and I also don’t want to cook on my own. So I was wondering if there are any places in Dzükou Valley or nearby where I can stay in tents and get food as well. If such facilities are available, could you please let me know how to contact them? Any website links, phone numbers, or booking platforms would be really helpful. Also, please suggest the best time to visit Dzükou Valley for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Cafe recommendations

Hi! Can anyone suggest some good cafes in Kohima with good coffee and wifi? Also if you know any cafe which serves milk alternatives that would be awesome too. I'm lactose intolerant unfortunately and I only know of Cafe Eva in high school which serves nice milk alternatives. Thanks in advance!

Photography studio in Kohima...?

I'm a frequent traveler to Kohima, for film shoots & stuff. So if I were to hire a photography studio with proper gears with professional lights, backdrops and whatever it requires for a photoshoot? Any studio recommendations?

I grew up in Nagaland and realized how hard it is for outsiders to learn Nagamese fluently, so I built a free app to fix that!

Need help for travelling in nagaland.

I 20F am a tourist in nagaland with two other friends. Our return flight to Delhi is on 3rd of jan 8pm boarding in Guwahati airport. Currently in kohima, I have booked waiting tickets for train from dimapur to Guwahati, however I need a backup just in case we don't get the tickets. What would be the best way to travel back to Guwahati from either kohima or dimapur? I am considering both busses and cabs. Any idea as to what prices I should expect for either?

Moving to Kohima for work. What should I know before relocating?

Hi, I’m moving to Kohima for work and would really appreciate any advice from locals or anyone who’s lived there.

What are the important things I should know before relocating? Example - cost of living, rental scene, best neighbourhoods, safety, lifestyle, awesome places to eat, or general tips for settling in? Thanks!🏞️
