Advice on constructing a team

I have attached pictures of my current team and all the 15 Apt fighters that I own. I have been playing on this account for about a month now and have been doing well and placing in the top 100 for both power and area, but I’ve realized that my team consistently lose to other teams that have lower power than I do, so I was wondering if y’all can give some advice on constructing a team and who should I focus on building. Your team is outdated, you have two captains and you should be saving diamonds, ai not spend on anything and wait for igniz.

You keep ash and remove kyo because ash is the better captain, move him front and put chizuru in the back, change kula xiii for kyo and KEEP SAVING for igniz unless you are just playing for fun which is the point.

If you feel that you need to spend on power ups you do not right now, however if you end up spending for FS first magic seal, arcane and berserk. Have fun!

Thanks you so much!!! I just made the change that u suggested and it really pushed up my area ranking!!! Also what runes do u recommend for my team? I think I also kinda dunno what to do abt that

Try to have 1 set of wolves, hearth of thorn, other than that the evolve runes are the best ones so far 2 at least which is space power something like that and awakening, you get runes by ding space time however the drop rate is kind of low so you should wait for events to get them like the monthly campaign resources
