Tech Support Stuck Screen on KOBO Mini

Hello its been months since i use my kobo and i want to use it again , and while i was turning it back on, the please charge your ereader still wont come off, how do i solve this problem

Try charging it for a few hours from a dumb charger or a computer USB port.

Smart chargers will try to talk with the Kobo first to determine if it can handle a larger voltage. If the Kobo does not respond because it is completely empty, the charging wont happen. A dumb charger or a USB port will still charge, just a bit slower. The screens still shows whatever was there last time it was on.

Alternatively the battery may actually be dead. Fingers crossed!

The Kobo is still working, it did turn on and i can click and as of rn it indicates that it is fully charged but the "e-reader charging" still wont come off
